About this product
Building a server rack faceplate, AV equipment cabinet, or custom enclosure that needs an HDMI port on the front panel — but the device with the HDMI output is buried inside? This Panel Mount HDMI Extension cable has a built-in flange on the female end that bolts directly to a faceplate or chassis, presenting a clean HDMI port externally while the male end plugs into the device inside. Built with 28 AWG tinned copper conductors, foil + braid double shielding, gold-plated connectors, and a panel-mount flange (standard HDMI cutout dimensions). Compatible with server racks, broadcast/AV equipment cabinets, podium media controllers, classroom presentation enclosures, and any custom panel install — flange dimensions match the standard HDMI cutout, but verify the panel hole pattern before drilling. Supports 4K Ultra HD, 1080p, HDR10, ARC, CEC, and HDMI Ethernet Channel. Best for: faceplate HDMI ports on equipment enclosures and custom rack builds. Not for: free-floating extension (use standard HDMI extension instead) or in-wall installation. RoHS compliant.

Clean HDMI Port on Equipment Cabinet — Bolt-On Flange
Building a custom enclosure or server rack faceplate that needs an HDMI port on the outside? Female end has a built-in panel-mount flange that bolts to a standard HDMI faceplate cutout. Male end goes inside to the actual source device. Looks professional, protects the internal HDMI port from cabinet-pull stress.
4K Ultra HD with HDR10, ARC, CEC — High-Speed HDMI 1.4
Rated to High-Speed HDMI 1.4 with 10.2 Gbps bandwidth. Carries 4K Ultra HD at 30Hz, 1080p Full HD at 60Hz, HDR10, ARC, CEC, and HDMI Ethernet Channel. 28 AWG tinned copper conductors deliver clean signal over the short panel-extension distance.
Works in Server Racks, AV Cabinets, Podiums, Classrooms
Compatible with server racks, broadcast and AV equipment cabinets, classroom podium controllers, presentation enclosures, and custom panel-mount installs. Quick check: standard HDMI faceplate cutout — Yes (verify panel hole pattern before drilling); free-floating extension — use standard HDMI Extension instead; 4K@120Hz — No, HDMI 1.4 limit.
28 AWG Tinned Copper, Shielded, Gold, Flanged Female
28 AWG tinned copper conductors carry the high-bandwidth signal. Foil + braid double shielding rejects interference inside metal cabinets where EMI is highest. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion in low-airflow enclosure spaces. Female panel-mount flange standard HDMI cutout dimensions.
Sample-Tested Production — Cable Leader Direct Support
Each cable is sample-tested during production for continuity, signal integrity, and panel-mount flange dimensional accuracy. Manufactured to RoHS environmental standards. If a cable arrives defective or stops working in normal use, Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly — no manufacturer redirects.
