The microwave does everything 100%. I used it as an oven (convection), air fryer, and everything in between. Really great performance, and...it looks beautiful, like all cafe appliances. Very pleased, worth every penny!

I absolutely love my café fridge. It is so beautiful in my space and it is definitely better than a Samsung that I bought previously before this. I’ve had it for about a month so I don’t really use it too much but it is very beautiful and I will suggest reading the manual so that you can just understand more about how to use the product, especially with all the features that comes with, and I also like that is easy to clean and how the knob is position on the microwave it’s easier and accessible.

This Microwave can do it all!

This microwave is ridiculously fancy. It comes with an air fryer, convection oven and traditional microwave capabilities all in one. It took a bit of getting use to since there are no numbers on the front. Instead there are presets for commonly cooked items like beverages and popcorn. There's also a dial for more precise timing. I haven't had the opportunity to test out the air fryer or convection options on this sucker yet, but I am thoroughly impressed with I've experienced so far.

Beautiful microwave, but not fingerprint friendly. Little less powerful (950W) vs GE unit it replaced (1000W). Easy install. Pricier than most GE units if bought at MSRP. Best Buy had a great price on the unit I purchased. As a Best Buy Total member I received extended warranty!

Looks stunning while elimanting counter space

Bought this for my small apartment. It looks absolutely stunning with the white and chrome handle. Complements the rest of our appliances well. Not only that but since its a small apartments the more appliances you can eliminate the better and this has an air fryer feature which eliminated the need for an air fryer that we alwasy use. Paying a premium for counter soace was a no brainer.

Works and looks great, but air fryer not as good.

Works very well and looks amazing. After using our original microwave for 10+ years, the difference between the two are drastic. Heating times are less and no more cold spots. The vent is much stronger than previous microwave. But the air fryer is no way as good as conventional air fryers. It’s a great feature, but don’t think you can replace this for a regular air fryer.

This is a beautiful microwave, and we are so pleased to hear you are happy with your purchase. The Café brand has more of a commercial feel to the handle and design. The accents and bold finishes along with the high-performance features make it a definite win! The turntable on/off feature and the Add 30 seconds are very popular on this model. Matches set, lots of useful features!
Bought for a matching set. Integrates well with the electric range. Also doubles as an air fryer but have yet to figure it out!

Purchased to be able to free up counter space. The only wonderful experience is the microwave. The oven is ok, but the air fry is horrible, and that is the full reason I made this purchase. The appearance is beautiful but so disappointed.

Stainless steel handle made from plastic

Microwave works very well but within 2 years the handle started to peel and revealed it was made from plastic with stainless steel paint. Very disappointing for a higher end GE product. Basically sold as stainless steel and looks like stainless steel but it’s fake. This creates distrust regarding this product and company integrity. I had no issues like this with my previous model.

The handles on the CVM517P2RS1 are a brushed stainless color and made of plastic. The product homepage does not list that the handles are stainless steel.
