I am generally disappointed with the build quality of this dishwasher. 1. The door is very poorly constructed. It wobbles side to side and "twists" a bunch in both directions. I posted a photo of the two side positions it wobbles to and from. 2. The seal between the body and the door of the dishwasher interferes with the bottom sliding rack, so it hits it every time you try and slide the rack out. If you have utensils in the utensil bins, they also hit the seal and it's very, very annoying. 3. The bottom rack transitions to the door when sliding extremely poorly. If there are dishes in it, you have to lift it up and set the rollers onto the door in the open position. They don't slide smoothly between the two. I would return it if I could. I've had pre-owned craigslist dishwashers that are more solidly built than this.

Wow. Solid dishwasher! Clean lines, easy to use. I wish the express setting took less time. Great investment!

I love the GE café appliances. I got the dishwasher I absolutely love it. I love the third drawer at the top of utensils. and I got The refrigerator Love them both

So far this dishwasher has been nothing short of amazing. It's quiet enough so we don't hear it run overnight (our bedroom is directly above the kitchen), and when we're in the same room we aren't having to raise our voices to speak over its noise level. The only real noise is when it's draining, which is to be expected of any dishwasher. As far as cleaning goes, I've thrown everything I can think of at it while using the various washing cycles. The steam function is great when you have things that have been caked on for a few days before washing, such as forks coated with dried parmesan cheese. The third rack does a decent enough job for things that don't have anything caked on. I wouldn't recommend it for the aforementioned forks, but things that are put freshly used before washing will be cleaned well. The bottle jets are great and really do a good job of cleaning stubborn bottles. There hasn't been any need to pre-rinse any dishes before loading and running the dishwasher. The steam function works great to break up caked on food, so if you load as you go but don't run it until the dishwasher is full, this solves that issue. We do composting, so I can't speak to how the built in disposal works for large chunks of food. The app is very functional and does a great job explaining the cycles. One of the best features via the app is that you can set it to use only the top or the bottom rack when doing a load. That way, if you only want to fill half the dishwasher you can make sure it's only using water where needed instead. The reason for not getting 5 stars on cycle options is that some of the options, such as the top/bottom rack option, bottle jet, and silverware tray jets, only seem to be available via the app. In addition, the top controls don't do a great job explaining how to set them, and the documentation is lacking on some of the hidden options which bring it in parity with the app. If you don't want to use an app, I'd recommend looking into if you can access all the features you want via the control panel.

This dishwasher looks amazing in our kitchen with its matching line of appliances, though the appliances are a mixed bag ranging from Poor to Good. Check out the reviews, compare to LG, and think long and hard about going for aesthetic over quality and function with this GE line. I have been a big fan of GE and Cafe in particular for years, but this product line has given me tremendous pause and made me question why GE's quality is so significantly eroded. The dishwasher does a good job of cleaning dishes and holds a fair amount. It is fairly quiet, though if I am in the kitchen I find myself wondering if it is raining. The product looks expensive, but feels cheap. The doo feels flimsy and never feel like it is actually closed. Unlike past GE units that provided a satisfying weight and thump on closing, this door feels almost like plastic and never feels closed. Furthermore, the top rack broke after about 3 months of use. GE did replace the rack, which I appreciated. The controls are logical and easy to use. Overall, if you want the aesthetic the machine is adequate, but if you are accustomed to higher end quality like Cafe usually provides, look elsewhere.

I like the appearance of this dishwasher with the stylish copper band on the handle, but most importantly I am loving the features: the convection dry feature really gets my dishes dry, the 3rd upper rack is handy for special items, the special jets for cleaning jars and glasses with the clips to hold them is great, AND it is so quiet!

I love the silverware basket design, different size slots, easy open. Versatile third rack that you can slide over to make room for taller items underneath, also has placement for larger cooking utensils, with water going directly to them. I chose this dishwasher because of the dual wash zones, that are accessed on the app, which I found easy to use. Overall design is great, beautiful dishwasher, inside and out, the copper accent on door pool is like the added piece of jewelry that makes it all come together. Only thing missing are the inside lights, which we had on our former dishwasher, which was a really nice feature. Cafe does offer them on their next model up, we just didn't want to pay the extra $600. Other than that, I am extremely satisfied with my new dishwasher!

This GE Cafe dishwasher has exceeded all my expectations. The first thing I noticed is how silent it is—you can have a conversation right next to it and forget it’s even on. Even better, there’s no need to rinse dishes. I just load everything in and it handles the rest flawlessly. Sparkling clean results with zero hassle. A fantastic purchase! And it plays a tune when finished!!!

Quiet, efficient, easy to operate, great design for loading dishes and utensils. The Cafe series is superior quality, the matte finish is low-maintenance. The entire line is a goid kitchen investment

I looked for a new GE dishwasher as I prefer the hardfood disposal, but I wanted to make my GE Cafe fridge, so I selected this newer model. I appreciate the app / WiFi integration with my smart home and being able to configure and notify myself when the cycles are complete! The actual wash/drying cycles are incredibly quiet, I honestly forget it is running, and need Alexa to remind me the cycle is completed. It definitely cleans better than my 10 year old GE dishwasher. Hopefully it will also last as long as my last one!

So far, we are loving our Cafe Dishwasher. Whisper quiet and we like the small yellow light indicator that it is washing, so as to not accidentally open mid-wash. Dishes from Thanksgiving were crystal clean!

I can not say anything but WOW a dishwasher that actually washes. It looks amazing and cleans like it is supposed to do. It is also very quiet

Great dishwasher that is quiet and cleans even the dirtiest of dishes. Overall very happy with all of my Cafe appliances.

The Café Dishwasher in beautiful matte black is a fantastic addition to any kitchen. Its sleek and sophisticated design complements the high-quality construction, ensuring both durability and style. This dishwasher excels in performance, consistently washing dishes evenly and thoroughly. One of the standout features of this smart dishwasher is its convenience. With its smart capabilities, I can easily start the dishwasher even if I forget to do so before heading to bed, making it incredibly user-friendly and perfect for a busy lifestyle. Overall, the Café Dishwasher combines elegance, efficiency, and advanced technology, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen appliances.

We've had the dishwasher about 4 months and so far so good. It is pretty quiet, does a nice job of cleaning and doesn't leave spots.

Very quiet dishwasher and leaves a streak free finish. Also does a great job on stuck on food ie lasagna/enchiladas. Only area of improvement would be drying.

Not only is this dishwasher absolutely beautiful, it has tons of useful functionality. The ability to raise and lower groups of tines and the middle rack makes it incredibly easy to fit anything in it. I also love the pull down tab for a place to put cup lids. The best part though is how quiet it is. I can barely tell its running unless im standing in the kitchen. Exceptional machine, highly recommended.

Best Dishwasher I have ever used. It is very organized and has a separate silverware/large utensils tray at the top with sizeable middle and bottom trays. It is very well build, the washing is very thorough and I am impressed with its drying capabilities. This model replaced an old Frigidaire dishwasher that sometimes required a couple of cycles to wash thoroughly. I recommend this product for its high quality function and shiny staintless steel looks.

This dishwasher is very quiet when it runs. Dishes come out super clean. I love 3rd rack and jets for glasses!

First time buyer of the Cafe brand and i am loving it! I love the matte white finish and the dishwasher performs great!
