About this product
In February of 2020, singer-songwriter Caitlin Rose settled in at Nashville's Sound Emporium Studios for a week of tracking with William Tyler, Brian Kotzur, Jack Lawrence, and Luke Schneider. After a seven year absence following the of her sophomore LP, The Stand-In-a self-described Sisyphean nightmare of false starts and career blocks-Rose was ready, with the encouragement of close friend and producer Jordan Lehning, to give the rock a final push. InchIt happened so fast that there was no time to worry about what could go wrong; all I walked in with was the excitement,Inch she says. When she and Lehning planned to return for overdubs in early March, neither expected that the world would turn on it's head in little more than a week, that a tornado would soon wipe half of east Nashville off the map, or a global pandemic would, as it has for so many others' projects, further delay completion.

Limited cloudy clear vinyl LP pressing plus bonus 7Inch single. Nashville in 2010 was a time and place bristling with potential. The city had long been characterized by a sort of underdog spirit, and in 2010, that was in full display at DIY punk venues, run-down honky-tonks and hole-in-the-wall dives. This is where Caitlin Rose worked out the songs which became Own Side Now, a now timeless classic being reissued here as a Deluxe Edition. Revised artwork packaged in a gatefold jacket with a bonus 7Inch which includes two newer tracks InchWatchooInch and InchOnly LiesInch.
Vinyl LP pressing. Tyler Childers is the finest songwriter to emerge from the Bluegrass State since Chris Knight and should be mentioned in the same breath as Fifth on the Floor, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapelton, and others who are currently leading the most notable renaissance of Kentucky music since Keith Whitley and Ricky Skaggs took Music City by storm 30 years ago. Previously released as two separate EPs, Live on Red Barn Radio I & II is now available on a single LP for the first time. Volume I was recorded live on May 29, 2013 and Volume II was recorded live on November 7, 2013, both at Kentucky's legendary Red Barn Radio show in Lexington, KY. Live on Red Barn Radio I & II features six original songs (including InchWhitehouse RoadInch as heard on Tyler's latest full length, Purgatory) and two covers.
