Ally is psyched to be releasing The Cakekitchen's dark and powerfully catchy fourth LP, Stompin Thru The Boneyard, on vinyl for the first time in the US! Originally released on CD domestically by Merge Records in 1994, Graeme Jefferies has remixed and remastered the original album creating a more even and equally stirring effect. Mac McCaughan (Merge / Superchunk) cites this as one of his favorite iterations of the band, and for good reason. InchTell Me Why You LieInch ranks among the best of Jefferies' edgy pop songs, while the multi-part InchHole in My ShoeInch finishes with a sterling instrumental segment. InchThe Mad ClarinetInch is a highly textured acoustic piece featuring another NZ legend, Alastair Galbraith, on violin. The album ends with the perfect closer, InchAnother Sad Story,Inch which is not just another song, but one of the finest melancholy earworms you'll ever experience. NZ pop at it's finest!1. Tell Me Why You Lie 2. Even As We Sleep 3. Bad Bodied Girl 4. Hole In My Shoe 5. Mr. Adrian's Lost In His Last Panic Attack 6. The Mad Clarinet 7. This Questionnaire? 8. Harriet Row 9. Another Sad Story

The long-awaited LP will be released, containing songs from the album 'BANDIT' by Bomb Walker & MASS-HOLE, which was released digitally in July 2024, as well as an unreleased song (feat. DUSTY HUSKY)!It's been three years since the album 'ze belle' was released by WDsounds in 2021. During that time, MASS-HOLE has embodied HIPHOP with various attitudes, such as producing a huge amount of music for other players, performing live shows both in and outside the prefecture, DJing, and running a shop in his hometown of Matsumoto. And Bomb Walker, who left a strong impact as a featured rapper on DUSTY HUSKY's album 'DAAM' released by DLiP RECORDS in 2023, is also scheduled to provide beats to many players as a beatmaker in the future. The long-awaited LP, titled 'BANDIT LP', will be released, including excerpts from the album 'BANDIT', a collaboration between the two, released online in July 2024, as well as unreleased songs! The title track 'BANDIT' on the A-side features a wild beat by DLiP RECORDS backbone NAGMATIC, with a rap that runs like a wild beast over the rough beat, and a wonderful joint with DJ SEROW's scratching. The next song is the highlight of this , the track 'BLOCK2' that has not yet been released. This is a heavy song with the two of them and DUSTY HUSKY taking turns on the mic over a raw beat by MASS-HOLE's ally DJ SCRATCH NICE. The last track on the A-side is 'WAVE' (with MASS-HOLE providing the beat), a voyage of a town without a sea, featuring MAC ASS TIGER. The B-side is a fast-paced mic relay called 'DOWNHILL' featuring VILLAGE OG aka KILLIN-G and ARTMC (this is DJ GQ's beat). The next song is also a previously unreleased track called 'TIME IS NOW'. This song has a message, featuring Nagano rapper GUMP FLOW, who specializes in ragga, over a reggae-flavored beat by NICCHOME. (DJ SIN-NO-SKE's scratching is also a nice accent. ) Other tracks on the albu

Limited pink colored vinyl LP pressing. 2023 . For Tori Zietsch, who records under the moniker Maple Glider, music has been an escape from a series of oppressive institutions religion, enervating relationships, her own brain. At 14, Zietsch freed herself from her restrictive and deeply limited religious upbringing and at 15-after learning to play guitar from a chord book-she played her first show, at a skatepark. After touring the open mic scene in Brisbane, moving to the UK, and returning to Melbourne, she released her critically lauded debut album To Enjoy is the Only Thing in 2021, which Rolling Stone described as Inchone of the most accomplished debut albums in recent years.Inch Ultimately, I Get Into Trouble is the sound of alchemized pain. In each song, Zietsch transmutes tribulation and confusion into clarity and deep insight. She embraces the opportunity to be plainly and painfully honest. The album is a thematic expansion of her debut, going into greater and clearer detail, as she delves back into her Christian childhood while deconstructing her relationship to her body and her sexuality, alongside concepts of consent and shame. Throughout the songs, she draws similar parallels between religion and sexuality in novelistic detail, before landing on a note of hopeful optimism, and embracing a new life of peacefulness. She deftly combines the infectious folk-pop hooks of her debut with a sense of scape and scope. It's tight in all the right places, free-form, wiley and compositionally eclectic, playful, and erratic in others.
