Very good binoculars with amazing image stability.
I have evaluated this product for four years, routinely looking at the competition and newer products. When my existing pair failed I purchased the canon 10x42 without hesitancy. The binoculars have superior power and image stability. The overall quality is in the very good category. The lens covers and eye piece adjustment could have been manufactured better, but these items aren't significant. If you can afford the $1,500 for a pair of binoculars you won't be disappointed. The lens quality, magnification ratios, adjustment mechanism and housing are as good as anything on the market. What makes these special, and arguably worth the cost, is the image stability feature. I mount them on a tripod about half the time and hold them the remainder using the neck strap. No complaints.

Amazing IS
I upgraded from the older 10x30is and am elated with the better optics, light gathering and the amazing IS. My older model gave great service for years (and still work fine) but there is a huge jump in image quality that makes a joy to use.

These binoculars have great optics. Best of all, press the button and get instant steady image. This allows you to study the object you are viewing.
