Flat bed is large enough for full page copies, colour & B&W images are clearly defined, .pngs can be scaled to larger, distinct images. On a Mac must operate from computer software not buttons on scanner. Good value for price.

This is a terrific scanner for anything photo-related. Prints, slides, negs, whatever. Installation was quick, easy, and intuitive. It functions perfectly, with high-res files for your printing and storage needs. The set includes accessory pieces for scanning slides and negatives. Great value for the money. A solid 5 stars.

An excellent scanner for copying slides and negative color film strips to convert to digital format. Can be used with either Apple or Windows computers. I am copying all my old pictures as a backup for my children and grandchildren.

I bought this to scan negatives that i had laying around and found it cheaper to purchase and scan my own rather than send them to a pro. I'm no pro and am learning to fine tune to get great result and worth every dime.

We have been needing one of these since our overpriced Nikon negative scanner broke for the second time. Canon scanner got great reviews and it does not disappoint I was not worried about the bad reviews software received as I use Adobe CS5 software. It was easy to set up and is easy to use.

This machine replaces my old Canon scanner, which was no longer supported when I upgraded my computer (Apple Power Book Pro). That was discouraging and I checked out several brands of scanners and settled once again on a Canon. This machine is performing well and I really like that it can scan slides and negatives. This will be great for archiving. The only sour point was finding the right drivers. The disk that came with the machine was useless. Trying to locate the correct driver and software was confusing. This may have been because I was working on a Mac. Once the software end was sorted out I was highly satisfied.

I did my reading and bought the Canon 9000F because 1) I like Canon products and 2) It had all the features I wanted for the price. I needed this scanner to scan in my old 8x10 photos and it's doing a great job.

We run a sports card shop on eBay BNBsportscards and this is by far the best scanner we have used before. It takes great scans and does multiple cards at the same time which is hard to find sometimes.

This scanner is used mainly to scan photographs. It scans quickly and can scan 4 4x6 inch photos at one time.

I have not had a chance to try everything this scanner is capable of yet, but everything I have tried, I love! So easy to print a copy of a document from the scanner to the computer with just a push of a button. Love it!

This scanner replaces two scanners, including a negative scanner. The negative scans are as good as the old negative scanner with higher resolution and it is very easy to use. I like this scanner very much.

Great scanner. Worked perfectly with my Mac right out of the box. Easy to use and setup. I bought it to scan old photos and negatives and has not disappointed. I bought it to replace my old CanoScan 600F which no longer worked with my Mac. Love it!

The CanoScan 9000Mk2 is a Great Photo Scanner. The scanner built in software can bring back faded B&W or Color photos. I also have a CanoScan8800 I bought several years ago so I knew the 9000Mk2 would be good. There is no florescent tube to go bad or color shift as the new unit has LED lighting. For the price you cannot beat this scanner for negatives, slides, or old photos.

Good scanner, but the included scanning software isnt that strong. Consider buying adobe CS or something more advanced for image clean up.

I mostly scan artwork, and this little scanner does a great job with it.

The scanner works well and is great because it has an on/off switch and no warm-up between scans. My complaint is with the software as it more like a house built over 100 years with several add-ons and remodels; you have to go through various interfaces to find what you want and the most-used items are hidden away behind the never-used ones. Usually one scan with several photos works fine but sometimes it doesn't split them correctly. Overall though it works quite well once you get the feel for it, but make notes to refer to if you don't use it daily.

Had one off these a few years ago and it was perfect. When my new wife wished to copy her old pictures, no brainer.

This machine does everything the advertisement says it can. It scans well for both documents and photos.
