The CanoScan LiDE220 scanner is a superb scanner for the money. I have a Mac running Windows 10 as a virtual machine. The scanner easily plugged and configured itself in both operating systems. It is hard to make a mistake using the scanner as the software interfaces are very easy to use. The scan quality is excellent, and I create pdf files right from the scan. The device is light yet sturdy enough to feel solid. There is no power supply to plug in as the scanner is powered through the USB port - a great idea. All in all a great scanner.

Easy to use - good results. Easy to set up. compact, lightweight, fit into my home office well.

Great price, scan quality, and speed. Works well with MacOS. The unit itself is slightly flimsy, and the sideways stand that comes with it is poorly connected and designed.

I purchased this to replace an aging Canon D1250 scanner that was so old they never made 64 bit drivers for it. I did a little research and was disappointed they didn't stock them, but Best Buy did well and had it in the store in just a few days. Set up was easy - started the software setup and then plugged in the USB cable when prompted. First scan was blazing fast compared to my old scanner, and a little customization of the software settings had my scans where I wanted them and converted to PDF in one shot. Very nice. For some things you just need a flatbed scanner, and this did just what I wanted. The old scanner had a special tray for slides, but the functionality of this one beats that - it will pick out an image or multiple ones - and makes scanning multi-page documents easy too.

This is my second Canon flat bed scanner. I bought it because my first one is so good. (I leave it up north). This one is just as good. Easy to set up and use. Reliable and superior results. Reasonable price. What's not to like?!

I had the older model which did not work on Windows 10. I bought this machine to replace it. Needs the download update to work on Windows 10. Canon made stupid changes to the software making it much harder to use versus the older machine. The online manual is nearly worthless. Figured out how to use by trial and error.

I read a lot of negative reviews about it but I have to say I have not had any problems with it and it's been working great and does everything I wanted it to do. I want to give out a shout out to this guy and thank him for helping me make my decision in buying this. https://www.parkablogs.com/content/best-scanner-artwork-comparison

I wanted to buy a relatively inexpensive scanner, and after reading other reviews, purchase the CanoScan LiDE220 Flatbed Image Scanner. It is trivial to set up which I did on my PC and my Mac. The software is easy to use, and the scanner makes excellent copies easier. Great scanner for the money.

Very good for scaning hard copies of pictures. Works well using computer, but front buttons on the scanner don't work at all. This seems to be a common problem.

Easy to use scanner that works well with MacOS. Buttons on outside of scanner do not work consistently.

One of the best scanners available under $100. Color reproduction and scan quality is very good and it's easy to setup.

Scanner works well for the minimum amount of scanning I do. The buttons on the scanner work well so that you don't have to open software to get your task completed. Only gave four stars b/c of the how you have to place the item on the scanner, it's a different corner from my prior scanner

For a low priced scanner the unit is easily setup and offers great scans.

The unit appears to work well, but I haven't used it extensively yet.

Has way too many features for my needs, but works with Windows 10. I miss my old Cano scan where I could just tell it to copy and not have it stored in my computer and then have to print it.

After reading many professional and amateur reviews, I decided to get this scanner to digitize old photos. The resolution was supposed to be great, but I never saw it. I tried a few times, then exchanged this for the Epson v550 which did give me the promised resolution.

Good scanner for the price It does what I need it too very basic and easy to use buttons on the scanner eliminate the need to start up software for a quick copy

For an inexpensive scanner the quality is good the software took some getting used to but Canon support was awesome in helping get the setting the way I wanted them.

I've scanned a couple dozen photos and several documents so far and it's worked great. I have a scanning project coming up that will require traveling with it so the light weight is a plus.

I bought this product because the one that came with my printer did not work as well as I needed to. It scanned too slow and would not scan highlighter colors. This scanner works faster and better.
