The lens is amazing! Tact sharp and super responsive! I was surprised to find the lens not to be too heavy that I could shoot with handheld.

Amazing lens for sports

I was blown away by how many photos were in focus my first time using this lens on a football assignment. The autofocus is very fast and the photos I got were extremely sharp compared to my sigma 70-200 f/2.8. I can't see myself buying anything but canon l-series glass from now on.
