I love my new camera! I don't know how to use every feature but I'm working at it. The picture quality is amazing even with my limited knowledge about cameras. I'm used to point and click or an iPhone camera so this is crazy! I love the wifi feature so I can easily print and or transfer the pictures to my iPad or iPhone. I have not taken a bad picture yet!! Now I can film soccer games, gymnastic practices and swim lessons and enjoy great quality memories.

when I received the camera I thought it would be too sofisticated for me , but I put the lens on as directed and proceeded to take pictures. It is very easy and takes beautiful pictures . I can't wait to expand my abilities with stronger lenses.

Purchased the 70D after making a lot of comparisons to other Canon full frame and APS-C cameras. Seriously consided the 5D III, 5D II and 6D before deciding on the 70D. After borrowing friends cameras and doing side by side comparisons, the 70D showed itself as functionally equal to the full frame options and when the price point was considered, the 70D come out on top. Nikon was also looked into but my personal opinion on the sensor/processor combination was that the color rendering and saturation was just not up to the quality of the Canon line. My main concern is the final image and while the full frame sensor is marginally better, the resolution and sharpness of the 70D requires close scrutiny at high magnification to see the difference. Shooting some sports as well as conferences, the speed of the 70D is more than adequate (7fps continuous shooting) as long as the length of the continuous shooting stays under 10 seconds when the buffer fills and speed slows down. I normally shoot full manual or aperture priority and, unless shooting sports, rarely use autofocus. The enhanced focusing features and selectable points do make the autofocus reliable and fast so no shot is missed. Tethering to a smartphone with full control via WiFi is very handy when remote viewing and triggering is necessary. The video capability is not something I use a lot but the continuous focus is quite impressive. As many will attest, the most critical technical part of getting the shot is the glass up front. Purchasing the 70D over the full frame sensors frees up cash to spend on the better glass. Highly recommend the camera body.

I absolutely love my new Canon EOS 70D! I had an old 35mm Canon film camera. I decided to get a nice digital camera and I'm so glad that I did. The first shoot that I did was my son's senior pictures. Someone saw one of the pictures and commented that I had improved as a photographer. I believe it was the camera! It has so many features to make my photography better, including in-camera HDR, articulating touch screen.and WIFI capabilities to share my photos quickly. It also produces beautiful videos so that I don't have to carry a separate video camera.

I am absolutely loving the Canon 70D. The design, details and functionability are awesome. I am still reading on all the things it offers but I am enjoying the photos I have taken in the last few months.

Coming from the T2i, this camera doesn't offer much in terms of better photo image quality. However, the video is definitely better. It's not a replacement for a video camera since the audio is poor in my opinion. The buttons are definitely placed better compared to the Rebel series and the camera feels better in my hands. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I did a lot of research before getting this camera and I can say that coming from 3 1920x1080 camcorders I freaking love this camera. My best buy

I'm still learning the in's and out's of this camera, but so far I am ecstatic with it's performance. It is a tad on the heavy side, but that's a small price to pay for the quality.

Very good DSLR with nice pictures. The 55-250mm lens gets the best results out of the two lens I have. I got a very good deal at Best Buy, even better than online stores.

It's ability to shoot in low-light settings, share photos using wifi and use AF during video make this camera the best in its price range.

I bought this to replace a camera 5 years old that didn't have Wi-Fi or take video, but cost $1,400 more. So far, I am liking it a lot.

I am very pleased with this camera thus far. I bought it with the 50mm f1.8 lens and have not yet been disappointed. It is very easy to use, but it does take some time to get used to all of the options. Youtube is a great resource for this. I would recommend this camera to a intermediate photographer that has experience with a DSLR. The only bad thing is I wish I had the money to buy more lenses, but that will come with time.
