Upgrading from my 5D Mark IV after five years, the R6 Mark III feels like a whole new world. It’s fast, robust, and incredibly intuitive. I didn’t learn all the settings on my 5D, but this camera actually motivates me to dig in and grow. The autofocus is outstanding, the image quality is beautiful, and the mirrorless features make shooting easier and more enjoyable. Whether I’m capturing action, portraits, or ministry events, it delivers consistently strong results. I love my 5DM4 and intend to keep it. The R5M3 is a fantastic upgrade for anyone moving from DSLR to mirrorless, powerful, modern, and built to grow on you.

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III is a top-tier hybrid camera that punches well above its price point, offering professional-level imaging, versatile video tools, and rock-solid performance for demanding creative work. Whether you’re shooting high-speed action, detailed portraits, cinematic footage, or low-light scenes, it delivers results that inspire confidence and creativity. The ergonomics and build quality feel robust and well-balanced for long shooting sessions.

I love my new Mark III. Easy to use, it's not a heavy camera (even though it depends on the lenses you use). I've been a Canon girly for years and it seems like it's going to stay that way!

This camera is NOT an point and shoot camera. This is a camera you need to take time to learn. For me, it's been a little at a time as the menus are full of settings and each setting has the ability of affect what you're shooting. Also, because this camera shoots both stills and video via two different settings, the whole menu system changes when you switch so, in essence, you have two menu systems to learn on this camera. This camera uses the RF mount. You do NOT need to buy all RF lenses nor do you need to sell your collection of EF mount lenses as the $200 adapter for this camera works wonderfully and allows you to use the new mount with your old lenses. I've purchased a few EF mount lenses (used) over the newer and more expensive RF ones. This camera full frame so, if you have older lenses that are not, you will get cropping. In that case, you may want to go ahead and sell or trade. I love the fact that this R6 III will shoot in 7K (though I likely will never use it), it shoots pics up to 40 frames a second using electronic shutter/12 mechanical and it feels great in your hands. I could go on but, suffice it to say, if you're looking for a great camera that you're willing to shoot in manual or priority mode, then this will be a good, future proof investment for you. If you plan to always use auto (it has an amazing autofocus, btw), then save your money and just get a much less expensive point and shoot. If you're just looking to capture memories that look great, there are many great choices for well under a thousand bucks. So far, I've found nothing I don't love about the R6 III but it has only been a month.

This camera is amazing. Got it for my photography business and every function is superior, its fast, quiet, quick, easy to use, has amazinf features including touch screen and rotating screen. It is easy and quick to change setting because of the touch screen. The tracking capabilities are incredible. Very satisfied.

I've been using the Canon R6 Mark III for a little while now, and I've been really happy with it. The autofocus is super fast, the photos come out sharp, and it handles low light better than I expected. The menu system took a little getting used to, but overall it's been easy to use. Whether I'm taking pictures of family, wildlife, or just out shooting for fun, it's been a great camera. Definitely worth the upgrade if you're thinking about it.

This camera has all of the latest bells and whistles. I upgraded immensely from a Canon 7D. I am retired and this camera will give me hours of enjoyment of use in my hobby of photography. This is a hybrid camera which meets my photographic needs. I like shooting sports, wildlife, landscapes, and street scenes. This camera can do it all well.

This is an excellent camera. In my opinion, it's the best mid-range hybrid camera on the market currently. You can record 4k/120p videos!!! This is impressive if you want to record super-slowmo footage. The image quality is far superior to that of smartphones. Also, with a decent lens, your pictures look naturally professional! Totally worth it if you're in the market for a hybrid camera!

This is a wonderful camera. I upgraded from the R6 Mark II. With the additional features, Canon rearranged some of the menus, aside from that, it is a great addition to the Canon line up of cameras.
