Was very easy to set up. It is very compact compared to the one I was replacing(same brand, very old). Prints are very good. Something makes a weird boiling noise after a while. I assume it's the ink tanks. Nice that it will automatically shut off after an extended period of non use.

Seems to be a nice printer/copier/scanner for my needs. I am not a tech savvy person, so it was a little more difficult for me to get it to work with my google chrome book, therefore using Cloud. With a little online searching, I was able to get it to work for printing purposes. I just recently had to us the scan feature on it and that was a little more time consuming to figure out how to get it work with my google chrome book, which that came down to having to do something with Canon and getting some sort of verification code and following the steps. The copy feature set up was easy peasy. Overall I am very satisfied with the printer as I owned a Canon before and it just wasn't a Cloud printer for the chrome book. The only thing I don't like is that the door/flap that holds the paper which is the same door/flap that the paper comes out doesn't open automatically when a print job is sent to the printer. You have to make sure you open the door first. My other Canon, all I had to do was make sure it was turned on and connected to WI-FI and the printer flap where the paper comes out, would open automatically. But that printer also had a separate tray that held the paper. This printer is not like that. You also can't put very much paper for storage other wise the door/flap will not close. As the paper tray is the same door/flap that the papers comes out. The bottom part holds the paper and the top part is where the paper comes out. The printer prints nice clean and crisp. Photo come out awesome if you are using the right paper and set your settings correctly. It is not overly loud but not quite like a mouse either. So over all a nice printer. Just miss some of my old printer features. But this will do.

This printer was a snap to set up and get started. I like the concept of using five ink cartridges to help reduce replacement ink cost. The printer takes a little too long to start a print job, but once it warms up, the speed of printing a page is good.

Over all happy with this printer. It is very easy to use. I love the wireless capabilities, the white looks nice and it scans quickly. I haven't had any trouble with the printer at all. I was however hoping it would be a little bit more compact. It's a little larger then what I had hoped for.

Printer was easy to setup to print from my phone and my laptop. Prints nicely on regular paper but looks incredible on a glossary paper - can't tell he difference between this printer And prints from that store.

I saved 15 buck by buying the white and silver model, instead of the black model. It does everything but fax which is just fine by me.

I have only owned HP printers for over 40 years. This Canon printer model outshines most of my past HP purchases on quality and performance.

Quality printer for reasonable price. Customer rep was knowledgeable and expedient. Since they were out of stock, ordered it online and shipped to my home for free!

I used the cd to setup, very simple. I have not tried to attach it to the ipad as there are more steps you have to take to setup to cell phones and tablets (and your computer if not using disc). I like the location of the paper tray. This was rated very highly on 1 of the computer review websites. I have not had to use the scan function or the copy function, therefore I only gave it 4 stars.

This seems like a good upgrade from my older PIXMA. Double-sided printing without flipping paper is great! The paper "catch" doesn't always work, unless the additional extension is deployed -- which sort of defeats the purpose of having a print from anywhere, auto-turn-on, printer... I haven't had it long enough to get a read on the ink replacement frequency.

This is a excellant printer at a good price. Setup for wireless on windows 10 was effortless. It took about a minute. The instruction sheet leaves alot to be desired. So big and very confusing to read. I pretty much followed the printers instructions. They were a little bit easier to follow. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.

Had canon before, purchased this printer after reading online reviews and price point. So far it's been fine, still learning the idiosyncrasies of this model. This printer has more options than my previous Canon. I have not set it up wirelessly so I can't comment on its wireless operation. It's nice to have a printer that makes copies and scans. Have not used scan feature yet. All in all I'm pleased with this purchase thus far.

Read numerous reviews in the only negative comments were about installation. This turned out to be true but was quickly remedied by calling Canon. Warning be sure to contact the actual Canon customer service and not One of the fake sites that come up on the Internet.
