Simply blown away by the quality of prints. Printed quite bit in the first weekend on Pro Glossy II and 13x19 Pro Platinum Canon paper and the results are impressive to say the least. Canon's software is not difficult to learn and is simple to get started. I did not like the integration with Lightroom printing (Adobe to blame there), but Canon's own Professional Print and Layout software (download on their website) is extremely well made. Cost breakdown on ink is roughly 30 cents for a 4x6, 50 cents for a 5x7, and $1.39 for 13"x19"... which the detail and color gamut are simply out of this world. For those wondering, this model is essentially the same as the Canon Pixma Pro 200, with very minor changes to WiFi security and connection, more Eco-Friendly packaging, and the little S on the printer. This model uses the same ink as its discontinued predecessor.

I got the sprinter to learn how to print and bring some of my images to life and bring and give them to loved ones and friends and I did they taught me a lot and help me see in a different perspective the potential of my work and how others value it and even hang inside of their homes I will recommend this to anyone who knows how to edit and wants to get the best quality details, especially with deep blacks , is best to print a small image before printing it on a large scale as draft to minimize errors , Best Buy return policy works great helping me purchase with confidence.

We have printed 8x12 and 13x19 glossy photos and are thrilled. Easy to setup and start printing in minutes. If you wish to share prints with friends or even for sale, you can’t go wrong.

I've had the printer for a few weeks now, printing standard documents and photo-quality prints. It's excellent. The colour range is great and the quality of prints is excellent. It was a bit non-intuitive at first to set up as there are two sources of set up information: the booklet and the screen on the computer. It's best to follow the booklet and ignore the screen until all the steps in the booklet are complete. There was no problem connecting to wifi and my devices. And it's easy to use. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this printer for anyone who needs high quality prints.

I’m a Best Buy Total member, and this experience reminded me why the membership is worth it. I originally purchased an Epson printer that unfortunately didn’t work out for my needs. The return and exchange process at Best Buy was incredibly easy, and the team helped me switch to this Canon without any hassle. I’m so glad I did. The print quality is fantastic — the blacks are darker, the colors are richer, and everything comes out crisp and professional. I use this printer for small business projects like stickers and printed designs, and it handles them beautifully. It also prints cardstock and kraft cardstock with no problem, which is important for the materials I regularly use. This printer has quickly proven itself to be a reliable workhorse for my projects. Between the great print quality and the smooth support from Best Buy, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Canon makes superb products! I've been searching for a printer that emulates what I create for brochures, collateral, and print publications, and hoped this printer would solve everything. I've read every review and this printer sounded amazing for "photos" and design. The only missing element is the lack of auto duplexing, which I found out was a bigger issue than I thought. (It's far more challenging to manually duplex and register pages with a multi-page document!) It didn't work for my specific needs, but for photographers printing images onto glossy (or matte) specifically, this would be an amazing printer. It just doesn't work as well for a designer. The design felt solid, was quiet, and didn't feel like it would break like so many of the new printers feel today. It did print darker than my files but variances are expected.

I really like this printer, I currently have an hp printer at home and it does not compare to this one. This printer easily connects to my laptop WIRELESSLY, and prints out the moment I send it out. It was super easy to set up, and I also like how the design looks.

As a photographer I’ve had a dozen or so of photo printers. This one checks all the boxes, amazing colors, great software and a luxury look. Bought on sale for $500 and couldn’t be happier.

The colors are absolutely stunning and the detail in the prints is professional grade. It handles different paper types with ease and the setup for wireless printing was very simple. A must-have for any photographer.

Very good color quality and accuracy. The ONLY reason this isn't 5 stars, is it has some firmware bug where if its left on it starts going into some loop state thinking it has something to process but there is nothing to process. Then it loses WiFi connection after awhile. Its not a deal breaker and the color quality is still worth having this unit BUT this needs to be fixed.

This is the BEST printer i have ever owned. I love the clear, awesome pictures it prints out and the sizes it prints out.

I would say more like a 4.5 stars only because it's expensive. But so far, this thing prints really nice photos. Few hiccups and wasted photo paper getting started because you have to fiddle with the settings a bit, but otherwise a nice product.

This is a really good photo printer. I downgraded from a canon pro300 for this because the colors were too washed out due to pigment ink on the pro 300. This printer is basically the same in look and feel but prints so much better vibrant prints due to dye ink. If all you will use this for is photo printing it is the best. Highly recommend

This is my first ever photo printer and the quality is amazing. Especially when using the Pro Platinum paper, the quality is unbelievable. Highly recommend. The printer moves alot when it is printing so just be sure you have it set on a sturdy table or counter or this beast will rock the table back and forth.
