This conversion happens without distortion, resulting in high-quality images. Newer CMOS sensors use transistors at each pixel to move electrical charges. CMOS sensors are typically less expensive, but also require more light to create distortion-free images.)

Q: Are you able to zoom in and out while you are in video camera mode ???

A: Yes, you may zoom in and out while on video mode

Q: Can you transfer pictures from camera to computer wireless

A: No this camera doesn't have that feature. You will need to take the SD card out of the camera and put it into the SD slot of your computer to transfer pictures or videos.

Q: Can I purchase a USB cord for this camera?

A: Yes from amazon or Best buy called ( Canon PowerShot ELPH 150 IS Digital Camera USB Cable 3' USB 2.0 A To Mini B )

Q: What accessories are needed?

A: I use SanDisk for the memory card and I've had no issues. I also use the USB 2.0 cable without issues as well. Hope that helps.

Q: Does this camera have a flash ? How are the pictures taken in dark ?

A: The flash can be set for auto, manual or turned off if needed. With the flash, depending on distance and background, the picture is good.

Q: Can you take still pictures in middle of a video?

A: Yes just push the photo button when you want and take a many as you like.

Q: Is the picture quality good when there isnt any flash? Is the quality grainy and not clear when you use it without a flash?

A: It can depend on the lighting. I prefer to take pictures without the flash, but you need a steady hand or a tri-pod. The pictures always come out better. If the image isn't clear and/or if it's too grainy after about 3 shots, then I'll turn on the flash. But most of the time the photos come out clear due to the high resolution.
