You would want to run to pick you up this canon camera not walk the quality is amazing with video and pictures if you’re a 1st time camera user this is for you!! After researching the best compact cameras for travelling, where I didn't want to take my DSLR because of size, I decided on this camera. The quality and ease of use definitely exceeded my expectations and it was really a fun camera to use on my vacation. There are a lot of settings built in. The tilting display was extremely handy. The portrait modes were my favorite for capturing local people on my trip to South East Asia. I highly recommend! The zoom was the only thing I was worried about but it was actually amazing how far I could get a good, clear photo from. Great action shots too.I have no complaints so far!

So I vlog a lot and saw a lot of vloggers use this camera and wow ! Such an amazing camera ! The video quality is by far so high resolution I was in awe when I was watching my videos ! The photo mode is ridiculously amazing ! The detail and color of the pictures and videos are stunning ! It also helps that the screen flips around so you can see yourself ! I've owned many cameras over the years, and have always carried a point an shoot for quick and easy shots..in addition to my dslr..i do love my Sony A5100 mirrorless, but lately, the images seem blah, the colors not as vivid..my husband says its the photographer not the camera..:: rolling eyes:: I even reset camera setting back to factory default....I got this camera for Christmas..the images are crystal clear..many features that, i haven't tried yet...there is a F-stop of 1.8 which is fantastic for bokeh..its a little chubby and wont fit into a women pocket, but its definitely a nice camera, either as a second if your preferred shooting is dslr..this camera gives you the not just standard auto shooting but manual which is still my preference., aperture , shutter, program and scene settings..i only did a few second videos of birds and the video is quite nice..give it a try...

If you want to leave your dslr at home and avoid being stuck with your phone camera this is an amazing solution. The presets are great, especially the portrait and stars modes. Fits in most pockets as long as you're not wearing skinny jeans...

I’m an avid hiker and I bought and used this camera when I went to the southwest! I have gone to 4 National parks with this camera and have so many amazing pictures! I have carried this camera on many ten mile hikes and captured great pictures at the top. Great videos too! Amazing night pictures of you learn to set appeture correctly. I love this camera! I just wish the battery had a longer life! Also, buy a good little soft pack to keep Lens and screen from getting scratched

This camera was recommended to me by an employee whom also uses this camera. It not only has the typical point and shoot features, but there are manual features as well. My only complaint is the lack of zoom but the quality of the pictures is second to none. Startrails feature is so detailed.

A really amazing point and shoot camera! I’m not sure what people meant when they said this camera had bad autofocus because I was quite suprised at how nice the photos are. Although if you are someone who thinks too much clarity is not what you want then a different camera is a better option, but the camera definitely lives up to its hype!

I’ve had this camera for 1 year. I’ve used it almost everyday taking pictures and videos. It is one of the best point and shoots I’ve ever owned. I’ve dropped it, threw it in my bag where it was just tossed around and it still hasn’t showed any signs of stopping. It has a feature where it connects to your phone and you can download all the videos and images straight to your phone anywhere. Overall wonderful camera gave me some very good years.

I got this camera and a Fantasea FXGX housing for scuba diving and have been blown away. Underwater white balance is great, image stabilization is perfect for video, and the wide aperture does great in the low light world of diving. I have owned a Canon D30 and Olympus TG-4 and this camera surpasses both. Also a great walk-around point and shoot for times when I want more than my iPhone camera and less than my DSLR.
