This Canon Speedlite is a great external flash unit for my Canon EOS Rebel. I also like the ability to use it as a modeling light and the wireless slave function.

I probably bought a flash that is way beyond my game, but I gotta say, there's something to be said for using professional grade equipment! This goes wonderfully with my 7D Mark II. Honestly it even works as a nice counter-balance to my heavy lenses if I have it hanging from my neck. This flash does two things very well for me: 1) It negates any lens hood shadow effect from the flash that comes built-in on the camera! Hooray! 2) The LED light for videos is wonderful, and even works well as an alternate always-on flash.

It was very easy to use right out of the box. Simple to understand. Really like the LED option for taking movies in dark or low light settings.

It's a good second flash for small jobs. Good coverage and balance lighting. The continuos light is very effective.

I only used the flash probably a couple times and it is made for what it's supposed to do. But I realized I needed a brighter flash if I really wanted to be serious in Photography. Had to return it and upgrade to the next unit.

I tried different lenses but these one works the best for me.

I only use for occasions when i need more light inside or to "fill-in" when shooting outside. This flash is perfect. Just what i needed!

I purchased this flash to use with my T2i. This flash has an LED light to use when doing video. The LED works well for video within about 10 ft. The flash head being adjustable gives you a lot of options to bounce light off of walls ceilings etc to soften the light on the subject being photographed. It can also be used as a remote flash.
