Cartridge Activision Collection 2, 15 Retro Games - Evercade

15 more Activision classics for Evercade. Activision returns to Evercade with another collection of '80s classics. Includes H. E. R. O., Pitfall II: Lost Caverns, Stampede and more. Because Evercade runs on its own dedicated operating system built specifically for this cartridge library, none of the included games are compatible with modern platforms such as Nintendo, Xbox, PlayStation, or PC — they're designed to be played only on real Evercade and Super Pocket hardware. It's part of a rapidly growing physical cartridge library from Blaze Entertainment that now spans arcade, home computer, and console gaming across six decades, with new officially licensed collections added on a regular basis. Each cartridge also ships in Evercade's signature collectible clamshell case with bespoke cover artwork, so it's as much a shelf-worthy keepsake as it is a way to play. It is fully compatible with every current Evercade system — the original Handheld, Evercade VS, VS-R, EXP, EXP-R, and Alpha consoles — as well as Blaze's HyperMegaTech Super Pocket handhelds, so the same physical cartridge plays across the whole lineup. Every Evercade cartridge also supports the platform's built-in save-state system, so a session can be paused and resumed at any time, on any Evercade or Super Pocket device, without losing progress. Because each collection is built around a specific developer, franchise, or era, it also works well as a focused, easy-to-wrap gift for the retro gaming fan in your life, rather than a generic multi-format bundle. Behind the scenes, Blaze Entertainment's team builds and tunes the emulation for each title individually, so games run at the correct speed and feel the way they did on their original hardware rather than through a generic one-size-fits-all emulator.
