A: Its standard to mark an item as "Refurbished" if it is. "Pre-owned" is simply a returned or upgraded item that had no issues, so all they had to do was reset it to make sure there wasn't any info stored in it from a previous setup... IF it was even opened before returning. But be assured, I've purchased several refurbished items and have never had an issue with them. Because whatever was faulty has been replaced.
