Chariots Overdrive - The End Of Antiquity - VINYL LP

Formed in 2004 in York (UK), Deitus create sonic terror through the medium of Black Metal with no limits and no compromises. The band has two highly-acclaimed studio albums to date; 2016's Acta Non Verba and 2018's Via Dolorosa. The band's core line-up has remained a stable 3-piece since their inception, taking inspiration from such artists as Dissection, Slayer, GG Allin, Fields of the Nephilim and Bathory. Deitus are notorious for their blood-drenched, rabid, violent live shows across the UK, Europe, United States and Mexico. They have received high praise for bringing an unpredictable and dangerous element back into the live setting and have played alongside such esteemed bands as Mayhem, Shining, Hellhammer, Rotting Christ and also at various festivals across the globe. Their third album, Irreversible, will inflict the sinister and vicious art of Deitus to an even wider audience by introducing a much more diverse sound overall.

The long-awaited and hotly-anticipated new studio album by Hoodoo Gurus, Chariot of the Gods, is the band's first album in over a decade (the longest interval between Hoodoo Gurus' albums in their history) and is available to pre-order today from here. Dave Faulkner explains InchThe last twelve months have been frustrating and nerve-racking for everyone but, for the Hoodoo Gurus, this dark cloud has had a silver lining. Forced to rely on ourselves instead of the outside world for validation, there has been a creative rebirth within the band that has resulted in a string of singles and a new album. Most important of all, the musical bonds between the four of us have never been stronger. When the discussions are all about which songs we're sad about having to leave off the record, that's a damn good sign. InchI'm tellin' ya, folks, we've got a real spring in our step right nowInch.

Originally recorded and released in 1987, Chariots of Iron built upon Apostle's early demo (1984) and White Metal (1985) foundation with greater musical range (faster tempos and added classical elements), refined production, and lyrical depth.Distributed only through the underground tape network of the late '80s, the album revealed Apostle's growing sophistication and spiritual intensity. Tracks such as InchSword & Shield,Inch InchLake of Fire,Inch and InchLamb of GodInch combine melodic guitar work, anthemic choruses, and bold biblical imagery-calling listeners to perseverance and spiritual courage. The fiery, explosive heavy metal on Chariots of Iron reflects the armored tank artwork that adorns the cover of this reissue, while the message inside faithfully communicates the unconditional love of God for a broken world.Unavailable for decades and rarely heard outside small circles of collectors, Chariots of Iron now receives it's first official Vinyl as part of the Retroactive Records Metal Icon Series. Limited to just 200 units. Remastered by Rob Colwell and featuring expanded packaging with contextual notes (12x12 full color insert), this restores one of Christian metal's best-kept secrets-a powerful reminder of why Apostle's music continues to inspire believers and metal fans alike. For fans of Yngwie Malmsteen, Judas Priest, Sacred Warrior, Stryper, Messiah Prophet and Paradox!
