About this product
Between their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album and incendiary live shows, Cheatahs proved themselves to be one of the most exciting leftfield guitar bands to come out of the UK in recent years. The London-based band demonstrates their devotion to experimentation even further across their new album Mythologies, leaving behind their debut's hazy, nostalgic world for an ambitious Technicolor universe in which motorik rhythms, garage and ambient punk flow seamlessly into one another.

Cheatahs, present this compilation of their two 2012 EPs. The sound recalls the glory days of Shoegaze (Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, the Boo Radleys etc.), but with a level of songcraft so many of their contemporaries lack. Both EPs were recorded in London by the band's bass player, Dean Reid and mixed by Dean and the band. Cheatahs tour North America with friends and fellow Londoners, Veronica Falls, in March.

After a March/April national US tour supporting Wavves and Fidlar, and in between a smattering of UK/European summer shows that included a performance at the Primavera Festival and touring with Metz - London based, Cheatahs headed home to finish their self titled debut album. Featuring the anthemic, InchThe SwanInch (an altered take from the EP version), InchCut the GrassInch, which premiered on the AV Club in august and InchFallInch, a track that premiered on pitchfork in march and was quickly declared a Inchcatchy-as-f*ck soaring-guitar anthemInch by Stereogum.
