Q: Is there a way to stop if from beeping?
A: I held down down arrow and start button at the same time for 5 sec or so and i saw a it said "mute" It turned off.
Q: Does this tea kettle have multiple heat settings?
A: No heat settings and it doesn't have a keep warm function either. But the blue leds are cool and get remarks and auto cut off works well. I really like the totally separate glass carafe - water never touches anything but glass when heating.
A: I think the plastic base is under the glass so water doesn't contact it when boiling.
Q: Does this Chefman electric tea kettle beep when the water comes to a boil?
A: It does not make any sound at all. A blue light lights the pitcher up as its boiling and then the blue light shuts off once the boiling point has been reached and the pitcher power turns off as well.
Q: can this kettle be used to make coffee?
A: Inside it? Maybe? I would not. It would be difficult to clean. I use it to make hot water to make coffee in my French press and my aeropress.
Q: Could this be used to boil ginger for ginger tea?
A: I don't recommend it. Unless you cut it into very small pieces.
