Love this kettle. First it's very aesthetic on your counter. Nice to look at. Plus, you can tell if you have already turned it on as it glows blue Until it reaches a rolling boil then blue light shuts off and it turns off. The Pot changes color back to clear. It's fast for boiling a cup or a pot full of water. I am not a big fan of microwaving my water and hate to take up space on my stove for a water kettle. This is across from the stove. Just love my purchase.

Used product for two months, works great. I use it everyday. But I noticed when using it this last time that a screw inside by the lid had rusted and was corroding inside, not sure how long it has been like this! Maybe it's a fluke?

What an excellent kettle to have. Even comes with a special tea-brewing insert. I love the fact that it pleasingly lights up when the water comes to a boil.

It does what it says, heats water to a boil in under 6 minutes (I’ve used it to make soluble coffee, on a French press, making Jello, rice, soup etc and just about any recipe that calls for hot hot water) the tea infuser it’s a nice little add on and also does what it says, whenever I need to make a big batch of loose leaf tea this is my go to kettle (I used to make it individually, cup per cup but when you have 10 people at home and all of them decide to go for the tea, this is a necessity) I have used it for ground coffee also, I did not loooved the result but it came out alright

Not only does this tea pot bring water to a boil faster than my stove top method, it has an automatic shut off once the water boils. I like that it's removable from it's base, so the pot itself is not plugged into the wall. The bonus feature is the beautiful blue light that glows around the base when it's on. I love it!

When I needed something to replace my beloved GE kettle, I was a bit skeptical of the Chefman. It seemed a bit more than I needed, and I wasn't sure if it would heat with the efficiency of the GE, which was fantastic at providing fast boiling water for my morning tea. I'm glad to say that the Chefman kettle has been a great addition to my kitchen. While I mostly use it for small volumes of water, the few times I've needed to use the full 1.8L capacity, it has come to a boil even faster than the GE. Additionally, the blue lights and glass walls, which I was initially a bit wary of, provide a very stylish touch, especially when the kettle is at full capacity. Additionally, the light helps prevent those few times when the kettle gets left on to boil try, or accidentally turned on again by a bump while cleaning up after pouring the tea. Overall, it's a great kettle, worth the money.

I love this electric kettle because it heats the water quickly, has a 7.5-cup cordless glass kettle that has blue lights that come on as it's heating and turns off automatically, and a 360-degree swivel base.

I like the design of this kettle, very modern while also has a nice touch with those LED lights. Price is not too expensive, cleaning is easy but lately there were some black spot on the bottom that was very hard to get rid of.

I love my Chefman electric kettle. It is so easy to boil water for my tea.. Before I bought this I was having to wait for my tea kettle to boil.. Now with my Chefman electric kettle it is so fast getting boiling water for tea and has an automatic shut off while staying hot on the metal heating plate. It holds enough water for my tea through out the day and with automatic shut off comes right back to a boil when turned on.

Heats up quickly, and the infuser is great. Only negative is the top doesn't come off, so it isn't easy to clean.

This is a great product. It boils water so quickly. I placed teabags in the Kettle and within minutes I have hot tea. It is also great to then put the remainder into a piicher to have iced tea.

I lost my old, reliable GE Kettle in a move, and needed to purchase a new one, so I went with the Chefman 1.8L from online recommendations. I enjoy the look, and the price range is acceptable for a mid-range electric kettle. It doesn't have a lot of features, but I'm not looking for timers, specific temperatures, etc. I'm looking for something that will boil water that I can then pour over a tea bag. While it does not heat the water quite as fast as I would like, still heats rather quickly, and looks very stylish sitting on the counter. Definitely what I would recommend to friends.

There is a slight smell of plastic when first running the kettle. The smell appears to come from the section that holds the infuser, which is made of plastic. The metal is stainless steel I believe. The handle is plastic, along with the piece that holds the infuser along with the lip of the kettle. The water does heat quickly. This is my first evening owning the kettle. After the three initial cleanings, the kettle boils quickly without a plastic smell. I boiled water for tea and boiled another pot for coffe, both were successful. I'm pleased with the product and I'll update in the future. I dropped the review to four stars due to the initial smell.

We use the electric kettle every day. It heats water quickly, it is very easy to maintain, and does not take up a lot of space on the counter.

The Chefman kettle rocks. Brings water to boil faster than most kettles I've seen. We've already recommended it to three friends.

I purchased this for my wife initially, being from Japan she drinks quite a bit of tea so I thought the Tea infuser was a nice touch, but we have found that we are using it for everything from making hot coco, to making hot water for Noodles and Ramen bowls. Its a nice well built unit that heats very quickly. We have no complaints so far!
