About this product
Bring a lively island-bar mood to a vertical wall with this set of two Chesapeake Bay tiki wall plaques. The tall aqua faces create an animated focal point with distinct expressions: one features a long pink tongue, large white teeth, and open eye cutouts, while the other has painted eyes, a toothy open mouth, and hands meeting at the fingertips. Blue, white, brown, and pink accents brighten the weathered aqua background, giving the pair a playful coastal presence. Each decorative wood plaque is hand carved and hand painted in Indonesia, with sculpted facial lines, geometric bands, and layered carved patterns that give the surface dimensional texture. The wood is roughly sanded and mostly smooth, with selected rougher areas that allow the grain to remain noticeable. A semi-gloss finish catches light across the carved details while the distressed coloring lends a timeworn appearance. Every plaque has a narrow, elongated rectangular profile with gently rounded corners. Each piece measures up to 39 inches high, 7.5 inches wide, and 1 inch deep, making the pair well scaled to frame a doorway, define an indoor bar wall, or add height to a living room, bedroom, hallway, or entryway arrangement. The flat-cut backs rest close to the wall, and each plaque hangs from its attached cord; mounting hardware is not included. Position them as a matched pair for symmetrical impact or separate them to carry the same theme across two walls. Natural wood ensures that grain, knots, small cracks, coloring, dimensions, weight, and cord length vary slightly, so each set carries individual character. Best displayed indoors, these hand-finished face plaques complement beach, tropical, and tiki-inspired settings. Dust with a soft, dry cloth to care for the painted wood surface.
