I have tried every method invented to straighten my hair and this is the best by far. In the past, straightening irons have pulled my hair out, not gotten hot enough (rendering my wavy hair frizzy rather than straight), and been bulky and clumsy to operate. None of these occur with the CHI. I was a bit leery as to its small size, thinking it would take too long to straighten my long, thick hair, but that is not the case at all. The plates on the CHI get so hot and are so smooth, it quickly glides through all of my hair with ease. (My shorter haired husband uses it as well!)

This is a great straightener for home use. I love the length of the cord and the variety of heat settings. My straightened hair is sleek and smooth instead of frizzy like it is with cheaper products. I worried about spending that much and I do still think it's a bit overpriced but I've also never regretted the purchase.

Only owned it for about a month, so not sure how long it will last or stay working. So far, it works great, heats up fast, smooths frizz, creates shine, easy to use, dependable and durable.

This hair tool is so light and does exactly what I expect a straightener to do. This is the one to buy if you want to spend your money. It's awesome!!!

Bought two for this price. Have two teenage daughters. Only came in pink but it iworks well and we like the Chi brand. Had them for years seems they only last two years max, but we use it everyday so not bad especially when you can get them on sale. I've paid $150 for one

I have been a believer in Chi flat irons for many years. I replaced my old Chi that just wasn't getting very hot anymore. I like the heat settings on this one, and it works very fast!

Expected a little more for the price but it's okay. Do not like where the setting button is, constantly turning down the heat when styling hair.
