Since the Zombies were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, the interest in their work has continued to grow. With a major documentary covering their ongoing career due for in May, their momentum shows no sign of slowing. While Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone revived the band with a new touring line-up, original bass player Chris White continued his career as a songwriter and producer. Volume Seven of The Chris White Experience features 13 wonderful works from his writing catalogue incorporating previously unreleased recordings from Colin Blunstone, Joe Lee Wilson, Rachel Robertson, and John Verity. Recorded and mixed in a variety of historic locations ranging from London's Livingston, Matrix and Pathway Studios to Switzerland's Prisme alongside distinguished performers George Ford (Cockney Rebel) Jim Rodford (The Kinks) Stuart Elliott (Kate Bush) Eve Graham (New Seekers) and Richard Cottle (Alan Parsons). The recordings on the album contain some familiar songs. Francie Conway's version of the Colin Blunstone single 'Andorra' and Alan Bown's previously unreleased take on the Argent song 'Dance In The Smoke' sit alongside the original version of Lazy Racer's 1979 Billboard hit 'Keep On Running Away'. The booklet contains artwork, performer line-ups, memories from each of the sessions, and an introduction written by Sutherland Brothers & Quiver, Pink Floyd and Al Stewart guitarist, Tim Renwick. The popularity of The Zombies has soared over the last few years, and has continued to grow since their induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. After disbanding before their seminal Odessey & Oracle album was released, Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone have revived the band with a new touring line-up, while original bass player Chris White has continued his career as a songwriter and producer. The Chris White Experience showcases some of that material. The fifth volume of The Chris White Experience comprises another 12 excellent recordings from his production career, capturing studio performances from Colin Blunstsone, John Verity, and Sparrow, incorporating previously unreleased recordings from Diana Dors, Michael Fennelly, Duffy Power, and Moonstone. Recorded and mixed in locations ranging from Wally Heider Studios in California to long standing London locations; Abbey Road and Livingstone Studios. The songs are written by a number of notable names; including Paul Williams, Pete Brown, Randazzo and Pike, and Chris White himself. The booklet contains artwork, performer line-ups, memories from each of the sessions from those involved, and an enlightening introduction written by musician and author Andy Nye. Volume Five spans recordings from 1968 onwards, and is the fifth in a multi-CD collection covering Chris White's career between the dissolution of the original Zombies up to the current day. The Chris White Experience showcases some of that material. This fourth volume of The Chris White Experience is the first to delve into his career as a producer. Containing another 12 brilliant recordings from Chris' work with Argent, Diana Dors, singles from Marti Caine, Colin Blunstone, Duffy Power and many more. The recordings were made at some of London's most celebrated studios; CBS, Roundhouse, Abbey Road, Olympic, and Mountain Studios in Montreux amongst them. The songs are made up from unreleased, rare, and long- deleted recordings. Songs are written by Russ Ballard, Leon Russell, Richard Myhill, Roger Cotton, and Chris White. Volume Four spans songs produced between 1969-2006, showcasing the longevity of Chris White's career between the dissolution of the original Zombies up to the current day.
