Christian Lee Hutson - Paradise Pop. 10 - VINYL LP

Bill Toms and Hard Rain capture the American conscious with thoughtfulness, honesty, and a groove that keeps the tail feathers moving. A pandemic, and forced isolation will make creative people either melt or thrive. Bill Toms and Hard Rain did the latter. The album InchI Keep Movin' OnInch will be released on April 30, 2021 on the Terraplane Record tag and distributed through MVD (Music Video Distribution). The challenge to capture the vision that the writer holds, can be challenging in the best of times. Add the element of separation, and the idea may be out of the question. But, when a band has had so much history, and miles under it's wheels, the music alone becomes the catalyst that propels the spark between the participants. The record was produced by music legend, Rick Witkowski (Crack The Sky, B.E. Taylor). It features The Soulville Horns, and award winning instrumentalist/producer, Will Kimbrough. Rock and Soul, Rhythm and Blues combine to reveal the true picture of our landscape today, while acknowledging the music history in America. InchKeep Movin' OnInch is Bill Toms at his best, encouraging hope, faith, and inclusion as we move forward. Album Tracks 1. Still Got Love 2. Everybody's Talking 3. Come to Me 4. A Los Angeles singer/songwriter with an acute gift for intimate and detailed introspection, Christian Lee Hutson threads through avenues of light Americana, smart indie pop, and lo-fi folk storytelling. The tone of his music is usually gentle, but there's an insistence and clarity in his lyrics that gives his performances a strength alongside it's newfound indie rock edge. Although he began his solo career in the early 2010s, he gained popularity as a writer and collaborator during the latter part of the decade, working on projects with Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers, the latter of whom helped produce Hutson's Anti- debut, Beginners, in 2020. Bridgers and Oberst teamed up to produce 2022's Quitters, and now Bridgers is back producing his new record 'Paradise Pop. 10' Album Tracks 1. Tiger 2. Carousel Horses 3. Autopilot 4. Water Ballet 5. Vinyl LP pressing. 2022 . Christian Lee Hutson starts Quitters with a laugh. In this follow up to his ANTI Records debut, Beginners, Hutson moves away from a focus on growing up to the dread and complications of growing older. Written under lock down, the laugh that announces Quitters is the kind you'll find at the end of John Huston films, one of resignation and , and somehow a cosmic laugh that says InchCalifornia,Inch a place where lonely people gather together like birds. If every great record is a world, then this is Christian Lee Hutson's world. It's one filled with the fuzzy haze of a dream, and the half-remembered moments of a forgotten life. It's a record brave enough to say, In the good old days, when times were bad. But beyond the songs, it is this voice. The voice of someone who was alive in 2021 and recorded a group of songs with his friends for us to hear. Album Tracks 1. Strawberry Lemonade 2. Endangered Birds 3. Rubberneckers 4.
