Reissue of this 2009 two CD collection. The Ultimate Bee Gees features songs spanning their entire career. This set was released to coincide with the 50th anniversary of The Bee Gees. Although the group did not start recording until 1963 on Festival Records in Australia, they began calling themselves The Bee Gees in 1959 after several name changes such as Wee Johnny Hayes and the Bluecats, The Rattlesnakes and BG's. Each disc is themed with the first containing more upbeat songs, called A Night Out, and the second containing slower songs and ballads, called A Night In, though the cover art does not distinguish this theme. Liner notes were written by Sir Tim Rice. This also marks the return of the 1970s era logo on an official Bee Gees , which was last used in 1983.

Vinyl LP pressing. Subhumans are one of the most influential bands from the UK Anarcho-Punk scene of the 80's, filed right alongside Crass and Conflict, and just as relevant today as they were during the darkest days of Thatcher's Britain. Take your choice in how to tag them - Punk, UK82, Crusty, etc, - there lies the attraction and consequent reason for their popularity, the band epitomizes non-conformity and connects with people in many different scenes. Forming in 1980, recording and releasing a series of live and demo cassette tapes on their own Bluurg tag, they continued to music throughout the 80's - building a powerhouse of a back catalog that completely stands the test of time. Their debut LP 'The Day the Country Died' (1983), with it's Orwellian influence, is considered by many to be a classic and has sold in excess of 100,000 copies. In 1985 Subhumans broke up, citing the usual musical differences, although had managed to a third, maybe ironically entitled, LP 'Worlds Apart.' Pirates Press Records was thrilled to this record in 2019 after an extended break between studio albums, and Subhumans embarked on a year of touring in both Europe and North America to support it! The social and political commentary of bands like Subhumans forged a path, along with their contemporaries, for punk to change lives and opinions around the world. Sadly the things they sang about forty years ago are largely just as important now, sometimes more so during the age of Trump and Brexit. We can't wait to hear more of what they have to say about the current political climate, the immense imbalance of wealth and power, and the causes they hold near and dear to their hearts.

Vinyl LP pressing. 2023 . Superskull sounds huge, with of a great deal of attention paid to the guitars in the recording, and it seems that the band has finally found the perfect balance and tone for their heavy super stoner sound. This album gives you not only incredible heavy rock-stoner gems, but also one space acoustic song, one super psychedelic suite and one melodic trippy ballad that adds a perfect mixture of what is sure to be the best album released by the band so far!
