Excellent Movies

These four DVDs are filled with 19 beautiful episodes of life in the Smokey Mountains as lived a century ago. It is a great series based on the book Christy written by Catherine Marshall and can be enjoyed by the whole family. I just wish there were more of this type movies available.

This is a story about a young girl who goes to the Appalachian Mountains to teach at a missionary school. It is a nice movie with beautiful scenery of the Smokey Mountains. The people who live in Cutter Gap are very poor and this movie depicts the poverty and the pride of the people who lived there.
