Chuck Ragan - Till Midnight - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Soul rocker Kwame Binea was born in West London with native origins in Ghana and now living in NYC. He is a self-proclaimed rocker to the core, but has peppered his music with a unique brand of InchRoots RockInch which embodies his fertile and culturally diverse personal saga. 'Universal Love' by Jimmy Cliff, a featured track on the recording, was produced by Living Color founder Vernon Reid who also co-wrote the tune 'Love Surreal'. Of the process, Vernon says InchKwame connected to 'Universal Love' immediately. He brings a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of hope to this seldom heard classic.Inch Kwame Binea has a charismatic, soulful, & romantic vocal approach to Pop suffused with Rock energy. Though not a political message artist per se, he does not shy away from questioning modern issues. 'Roots Rock n Universal Love' is Kwame's epic answer of how to inspire people while also making them dance.

This live recording features Ragan armed with an acoustic guitar, harmonica, and his instantly recognizable voice that recalls vintage Springsteen doused with Jameson. In fact, whether he's delicately crooning on the eerie ballad InchThe BoatInch or continuing the folk tradition of songwriters like Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger on call-to-arms tracks like InchFor Broken EarsInch, Ragan is as much a storyteller, setting up life's triumphs and failures to guitar chords and melodies.

Chuck Ragan's third studio album COVERING GROUND is as much of a love letter to his transient lifestyle as it is a concession to the loved ones he often has to leave behind and is also undeniably his most honest and accomplished album to date.
