An Absolutely Stunning Remaster
Far and away an improvement to the previous Blu-ray release! This is how I remember it looking as a child viewing it on VHS lol. Background details are sharp and crystal clear, where before they were blurry and smeared due to lazy remastering. Color corrections have been done to the film. Cinderella's dress finally regains its original silver tone, rather than the pale blue it's been on past releases. The linework is crisp, and the colors are saturated and rich throughout. I loved how brilliantly the Fairy Godmother's magic sparkled. The packaging for this release is also stellar! I opted for the slipcover edition, it has a beautiful rainbow foil shimmer and embossed letters, which is contrasted nicely by the white 4K banner. It would have been nice to have the silver dress on the cover, but the new artwork composition is very nice regardless. The 4K disc has artwork on it as well, which is a nice touch. This allowed me to revisit one of my childhood favorites in a clarity like I've never seen before. I highly recommend this release, and I hope Disney plans to give the same treatment to other classic films in their library. They deserve it!

A Disney Masterpiece
This film has never looked nor sounded as good as it does on 4K. This Disney masterpiece really shines with a stunning restoration and crystal clear sound an picture.

Amazing.
Blown away by the picture quality and vivid color. I cant wait for more of these classics to be remastered. Film grain remains intact, picture looks to have been cleaned up and transferred from its native film source, a true 4k upgrade. Original aspect ratio? Not sure but it looks to be 4:3 which makes sense and only adds to the charm of the movie. Love this from disney, especially since next to nothing from their recent catalog is worth watching.

Cinderella shines on 4k
The 1950 animated Disney movie is a stunner on 4k. For Cinderella Disney has done a quality job by retaining the organic grain inherent in the original image. The Dolby Vision really brings out the vivid colors. It's never looked this good on home video. Plenty of legacy special features from previous editions are included. Well worth the upgrade if you own the the old Blu-Ray
