Machines of Our Disgrace marks the 5th full-length studio album for industrial music pioneer Circle of Dust, after a near 20 year hiatus. Created by artist/producer Klayton, best known for his multi-genre project Celldweller, Circle of Dust returns to Klayton's industrial roots with metal riffs, pulsing electronics and catchy songwriting. Klayton pushes the envelope of fusing modern metal and electronic production with gritty industrial noise & samples on Machines of Our Disgrace, while incorporating both aggressive and melodic vocals with thought provoking lyrics about man's technological evolution. Songs like InchContagionInch and the title track InchMachines of Our DisgraceInch question our relationship with technology while Inchalt_HumanInch and InchNeurachemInch explore the world of biohacking and genetic modification. The tracks InchHive MindInch and InchHumanarchyInch provide commentary on man's place in modern society's political and scientific moral ambiguity. The emotionally charged InchOutside InInch shows Klayton's softer side in a heart-gripping track with rich harmonies, acoustic guitars, pulsing sound design and introspective lyrics. In his restless production, blackgaze one-man band Sadness is back with it's second full-length album in six months, the fourth in two years. Circle Of Veins keeps exploring all the possible perspectives of blackgaze and depressive black metal loads of shoegaze effects and post-rock structures blend on a typical black metal glacial sounds. Damián InchElisaInch Ojeda, Mexican-born and raised in Texas recorded these songs in the spring of 2017 and only now decided to them, first digitally and then on CD via Flowing Downward. Sadness typical cross-genre variations this time drift a bit more towards some electronic elements, and synths are more present than ever here. Moreover, here Elisa took his time to experiment with some choruses and clean vocals effects and samples, considerably enriching Sadness sound pattern. Reaching over sixtythree minutes of previously unreleased music, Circle Of Veins will be released physically on May 20th, with an additional bonus track not available in the digital version.
