The MSI Claw, to me, is a wonderful device. So far I'm glad I picked it past the competition despite some obvious software and at times, performance issues. MSI Claw's Center M is nice as it allows you to pick games the moment it launches. You can get app updates that way as well. At times while playing games, it'll have issues opening up. There's also the issue of you not being able to change fan curves on the manual option like you can for the "Super Performance" option. I'd love for them to fix that soon. There's some FPS stability issues, but that can be remidied by mainly MSI software (and probably) Intel's Arc drivers which...have been improving alot. The iGPU seems like it would thrive on faster RAM. Anyways, i didnt really have many issues launching games besides NFS Heat, but that's not too well optimized anyways. Ive been able to play (and enjoy) games like Helldivers 2, Scarlet Nexus, No More Heros 3, FH5, and a couple other games at decent settings. I feel like MSI does have skme work to do when it comes to software stuff. It can be a bit messy sometimes, and the lack of some QoL features can be a bit annoying. So far, hardware wise my stuff has been fine. The bumpers feel squishy and the back buttons feel a tad weird, they do click nice though. Joysticks are pretty good as they are hall effect, meaning no drift. The speakers are crazy good for something being as small as the MSI Claw. The screen is a 120hz 1080p that gets decently bright and looks good when it comes to colors. Battery life isn't too bad. The charging cable is more like a proper USB-C laptop charger. Con: its kinda clunky to carry the cable around. Pro: The 65w charger charges faster for longer. Overall, i do love it despite its quirks. i dont think i can go back to the steam deck.

A lot has happened since the claw have been released. The software side is on par or better than its competitors, finally. But i have returned 2 claws so far because of faulty RB button. Almost good enough for the price but not quite.
