never works. Gets false alarms all the time and gives train alerts when no trains are even near by

False warnings because when it get connected to phone it give you heads up on all of the old traps and police locations even if it was few week old. Range is not so great!! Save your money and buy another device!!

I did get this from another supplier but had to chime in. This detector looks cool and is modern with the color display and gps/phone integration. Also has the red light camera info and seems to be up to date because a local town added red light cameras a few months back and this device did notify. The bad is the false alerts with KA band which is still very popular and it's not one you want to turn off. It has for sure recognized real detectors when they are out there but the false can be annoying after a while, especially at a $229.95 price point. You can buy a Whistler Pro 7800SE for about $150.00 and does just as good on KA band and maybe even longer range. You would give up the red light camera and gps info though. The 7800SE though is older technology, It's just a comparison for price and features. I'm sure there are newer ones out that are lower than or at $200.00 that do a fine job.

This is the greatest car companion one could ever have along for the ride. This Cobra device has been "sniffing out" hidden enforcement sites and warning of speed traps like none other I have owned. I can say confidently that I have saved an amount greater than the purchase price by early and accurate detection capabilities of this Cobra unit. This is a purchase that won't disappoint.

I would not recommend this product, especially for the price. Yeah the digital OLED screen is cool and all, but when the speaker goes out after barely having it for 3 months, it's pretty much useless. Contacted Cobra, and they want me to pay for shipping to the factory and then shipping to return the product. No thanks.
