Q: I asked the Magnification level, receiving a curt response of " it says 3X". Thanks for the answer, but find the tone rude and condescending. I checked product details, specs, etc & do not find where it says 3X. Please advise where it is stated.

A: I think when I received it, ONLY THEN did I see the 3X magnification which I missed when I ordered it, therefore I returned because I didn't just want a magnifier, but an actual makeup mirror!

Q: I don't see an on/off switch. Is it on all the time and thus drawing down the batteries and making light all the time?

A: I bought the teal one. There's an on/off switch on mine on the back of the mirror near the battery compartment.

Nice mirror. Wish it had the option for AC.
I bought this as a birthday gift for my teenage daughter. The clarity of the mirror is great and the LEDs are bright. While I knew that it was battery powered, I would have liked for the option to plug in an AC adaptor. I'm not sure how good the battery life is, so this might not even be an issue.

Overall, a great vanity mirror
The light is very good and even on all sides of the face - great for makeup without being too bright. Because it runs on batteries, I can take it anywhere, even camping. Since it was designed with the base heavier than the top, it sets very sturdy, bending it in multiple positions doesn't upset the balance. I like that the battery door is secured with a screw and the whole light appears to be very well made. The only reason it is 4 stars is because I would've liked the option to use electricity as well as batteries.

Great magnifier with light
This little mirror is exactly what I was looking for. The soft light circling the mirror is great. I have not tried to mount it on the wall yet so I cannot speak to that part. It just sits on my bathroom counter. The 3x magnification works well - you can really see all those imperfections! Price point was good too, as the Deal of the Day at $16.99.
