Confessor - Unraveled - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing. 2019 from the Grammy Award winning artist. Produced by Simpson, Sound & Fury, was recorded primarily at the McGuire Motor Inn in Waterford, Michigan, with his bandmates Bobby Emmett, Chuck Bartels, Miles Miller, who all serve as co-producers along with Grammy nominee John Hill (Cage The Elephant, Portugal. The Man, Bleachers). The album - which Simpson describes as Incha sleazy, steamy rock n roll recordInch - is a marked departure from 2016's acclaimed A Sailor's Guide To Earth, which won Best Country Album and was nominated for Album of the Year at the 59th Grammy Awards.

Undoubtedly one of the world's greatest guitarists in the history of rock n' roll, Harvey Mandel was light years ahead of the competition when he first broke onto the scene in the mid 1960's with Charley Musselwhite's Southside Band, bridging the gap between blues and rock n' roll. A true innovator who sounded like no one else at the time, Mandel played with such notables as Canned Heat, The Rolling Stones, and John Mayall before starting a solo career. Presented here is Mandel's classic 1971 solo album Baby Batter, featuring a solid band that included Canned Heat's Larry Taylor (Fender bass); Howard Wales (organ, electric piano); Paul Lagos (drums); Big Black (conga) and Mike Melvoin (organ, electric piano). All selections have been newly remastered.

Our version features a 180 gram virgin vinyl LP with an embossed cover; now you can feel the angel!
