This game is amazing, the story is crazy and creepy. The atmosphere, graphics, and gameplay is really good and the developers did an excellent job! If you're interested in sci fi horror then this is the game for you, it's not scary in my opinion but its definitely creeptacular. Jesse is an interesting and cool character to play as and her powers reminded me of Jean Grey from the X-Men!

Great action game that could be classified as Horror as the setting and some of its themes relate to the supernatural but without going into ridiculous territory. Teleportation, mind manipulation, astral planes and a weird infectious entity known as the Hiss from another dimension inside a transforming building. Some of the mechanics have been present in other games but the unique look and feel of the game makes it all very special and different. It has some elements of the "Metroidvania" genre, but overall its a satisfying game for anyone curious enough to try something different.

one of my favorites and one of the staples that helped me thru the pandemic.

This game is fantastic and looks beautiful. The controls are smooth and the game and story are just a blast. The deluxe edition steelbook is beautiful and a very cool case to have in a collection. The PlayStation edition comes with a exclusive skin which looks pretty cool.

This game has an interesting story behind it and the visuals for this game are breathtaking! This game feels great! I’ve been wanting a game with superpowers similar to inFamous and 505/Remedy delivered something pretty close! The steelbook is very enticing! You should definitely look into this game! It’s one of the Top 5 to grab Game of the Year by next week at the Game Awards.

By far one of the best games to come out this year. Fantastic gameplay, gorgeous visuals, and an amazing story along with some innovative world building. The steelbook is pretty basic, but the cards it comes with are really nice.
Control is a masterpiece from Remedy. I'm really glad to finally play a game from this studio on PS4. The history is intriguing and very well written. The action is so satisfying and rewarding. I can't stop playing Control!

This game is fantastic! Great story and game play. Has a creepy vibe, that can be terrifying at times. Lots of fun to play. Controls are solid and the graffics are superb. Buy this game!

Story was good, gameplay was good, but the performance on even the PS4 Pro was not great. I believe there is a patch out now which fixes this so please check before taking my review to heart

While 2019 was a little light on great games, Control was the game that you can’t sleep on! I almost didn’t buy it because I didn’t think it would be my kind of game but I was wrong and I’m glad I experienced thus! It isn’t as scary as the trailers make it seem. It just makes you feel a little unsettled. Overall a great story (minus the ending which was a little rushed feeling) but where things really shine is in the gameplay! It is so much fun to fly around and take out enemies with your morphing gun! Don’t sleep on Control!

Real intense fighting combined with the requirement to figure things out. Definitely for mature gamers, thus the M rating. I love the sounds that really scare me sometimes, and the music helps me know when I finally got all those enemies. The mapping is kinda confusing but that is part of what makes it good. Good graphics, with lots of stuff to shoot at, and to find. Good guns, and good names for the guns, “shatter” does just that!

Great game. Beautiful graphics. Unique gameplay with a very nice difficulty. The game plays simply and is focused around supernatural abilities you acquire as you progress through the game. I would highly recommend this game. The only issues I’ve experienced so far is some slowdown when there are large battles. There is a patch coming out very soon that will correct this issue. This issue in not ways makes the game unplayable.

Definitely a game of the year contender. Had a few performance issues but nothing major that will ruin your experience with it. I loved Control from beginning to end and i absolutely can't wait for more of Jesse's mind bending adventures in the upcoming DLC's. This is a must play especially if you're into mysterious sci-fi X files type of thing.

This game is a modern master piece and by far Remedy entertainments best game yet. The graphics are top notch, the game play is unique and fun, the characters are all amazing, the story is mysterious and creepy in the best way possible. I can not stop praising this game and I hope that everyone would give this game a try at least once.

The atmosphere is the most interesting thing in this game. I think there is a bit of similarity with things like Prey, Evil Within 2, and in a way the Silent Hill series. It's also extremely strange, calling to mind some of the weirder things in the Metal Gear Solid series or Deadly Premonition. One way I'd put it: think of those dream sequences from Max Payne, and imagine someone wanted to make that a whole game. At times it can feel a bit like Bloodborne for some reason, as well. My review isn't really making any sense, but neither does the game, but something is truly beautiful about the game. It's flawed, for one thing the musical score was not memorable at all to me. While the music serves the game, I enjoy having a memorable music score, or at least a few recognizable themes. There is some great use of music in a couples parts of the game, but it's not the game's score. But all is forgiven because of the wonderful trip this game takes you on. If you're wondering about getting this version over the standard. It has a nice box and some art cards (no manual), and some DLC. However you decide to play the game, take control.

Upon realizing that this game is from the studio that brought us Alan Wake and Quantum Break I decided to pick this up. The graphics & gameplay is engrossing and fluid. Story so far is well written and paced. For a title that flew under the radar for me, I’m glad I picked this up for my library of PS4 titles.

Amazing and high quality without a doubt . By the same developer who made games like Alan Wake this game is a must have. Control just expands as you progress and how you take on the challenges and obstacles is entirely up to you . Highly recommend.

Control is immensely enjoyable to play thanks to tight shooting and excellent abilities. Exploring The Oldest House is unsettling as enemies materialize into rooms at random. The dark, quirky sci-fi setting is not typically explored in video games.

This game is fantastic. The visuals and atmosphere are second to none, the powers and combat are visceral and frantic fun. Play on a Playstation 4 Pro or PS5 on a 4KTv for maximum impact. Headphones or decent sound setups are recommended

The best game I played in 2020, and 2021. Full stop. If you like absurd, but intriguing storylines, amazing art direction that plays with light and shadow, on top of great gameplay, Control is for you.
