About This Item

Includes a 36 page book. There have been other collections that tried to capture Conway's early years, but this one is definitive. It covers the eight years from his pre-Sun recording of Rock House to the ultra-rare ABC recordings of Such a Night and My Baby Left Me, cut just weeks before Conway went country. In between are the classic MGM hits and rockabilly high-spots, including Lonely Blue Boy (originally recorded by Elvis as Danny), Long Black Train, Hey Miss Ruby, Is a Blue Bird Blue (the earliest hit for the great Dan Penn), and of course It's Only Make Believe. Album Tracks 1. It's Only Make Believe 2. I Vibrate (From My Head to My Feet) 3. Rock House 4. Give Me Some Love 5. Shake It Up 6. Double Talk Baby 7. Don't You Know 8. Mona Lisa 9. Teasin' 10.
