Cora Martin - Just a Little Talk with Jesus - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

After some years of focusing on several other projects, Anna Murphy (Cellar Darling, ex-Eluveitie) and Tor-Helge Skei (Manes, Manii, etc) are back with the 3rd Lethe album. InchAlienationInch is a continuation of the special soundscapes of Lethe, while also testing new territories. Taking their name from one of the five rivers in Hades in Greek mythology, the Swiss/Norwegian duo formed in 2012 as a home for Anna and Tor-Helge's musical and artistic experiments - and right from the beginning, the main rule has been that there are no rules, no expectations, no compromises. The band has been categorized as a lot of things, i.e. genre-bending, style-bastardization, eclectic, and just plain weird, but even if experimentalism and F**k-all-rules is an important factor, the band is not afraid to incorporate melody and catchiness into the music. Lethe is something unique, something personal and quite different. The result is a melting pot of dark rock, pop, electronic, experimentation and metal, filled with a cold and harsh atmosphere, beautiful melodies and mesmerizing grooves. InchAlienationInch is about being outsiders, outcasts, and alienated in various forms, mentally, physically, ideologic (ally) and musically. Expect the unexpected!

Fresh off the success of the first European tour in the long history of the band, Rhino Bucket immediately returned to the studio with producer Doug Boehm (Dirty Sweet, the Vines) at the helm. The hard rockin' result is InchWho's Got MineInch, their sixth studio album and third on Acetate. Recorded at legendary Hollywood rock-shack Grandmaster Recorders, the disc features 11 new tracks and the addition of drummer Anthony InchTinyInch Biuso formerly of TSOL & the Dickies. Rhino Bucket can be heard on the soundtrack to InchThe WrestlerInch, starring Mickey Rourke as well as on the Shield, Sons of Anarchy, Greek, Blue Mountain State and tons more.

Gary Daigle has been an important collaborator on many composer collections, serving as arranger, instrumentalist, composer, and recording engineer. Named Pastoral Musician of the Year at the NPM 2019 convention, GIA is pleased to Gary's first solo collection in over 20 years. Way, Truth, and Life exhibits a wide variety of musical styles. Not only has Gary provided new melodies for familiar texts, he was reworked some standard tunes, thereby breathing new life into classic melodies. With music for children's choir, contemporary ensemble, choral arrangements, including music in both English and Spanish for congregational use, this collection has appeal to many liturgical musicians and assemblies. We are proud to highlight the work of this beloved GIA composer and musician.
