A: As to why more expensive- it is more expensive than software packages that don’t include some pieces that this one has. For example, this includes a database (MS decided that’s not included in most of their “office” packages) as well as several other pieces. If you look at the specifications of the description, you can start comparing them all. I don’t think any software comes on diskettes anymore. At best you could hope for a cd/dvd-rom, but again, look at “specifications” in the description. Most software allows multiple “save as” options and are able to open files in other formats. I would suggest going to the Corel website to see if their spreadsheet opens and saves excel format.
