About this product
In the Arms of God is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity, released on April 5, 2005. Last pressed on vinyl in 2018; To date, it is the only album of the band to not feature drummer Reed Mullin and the last to feature Pepper Keenan on vocals and guitar until 2018's No Cross No Crown. The record was a proper step sideways, one which saw the band embracing old-school fans' demands for thrash, as well as new converts' desires for catchy. It was one of those rare cases where both sides could be satiated.

The dignified bearing and quiet wisdom of Nikolai Myaskovsky (1881-1950) gained him the sobriquet of 'the conscience of Russian music' - and those qualities are reflected in the unemphatic strength of his music. His orchestral, chamber and instrumental works are regaining the currency they once enjoyed, but his large corpus of songs, many of them understated masterpieces, has yet to attract systematic attention - a situation this series hopes to remedy. The pairing here of his late Violin Sonata with his last two song-cycles for soprano and piano mirrors the Moscow concert in 1947 when all three were given their first performances.

Recorded April 20, 2001, in Detroit, MI, Live Volume is the first live album by Corrosion of Conformity and first time back on vinyl since 2016. Although the group began with strong punk leanings, indeed they were one of the first groups to merge punk and metal, the selections on this album eschew the material from that era.

Wiseblood is one of the most well-known Corrosion of Conformity albums and was released in 1996 as the fifth studio album by the American heavy metal band. The album charted on the Billboard Top 200 Album Charts and peaked at #104. The history of Corrosion of Conformity in modern heavy music is highly significant, not least due to guitarist Pepper Keenan's formation of all-star project Down, along with Pantera's Philip Anselmo and members of Crowbar. HIGHLIGHTS 180 gram audiophile vinyl. 2 printed innersleeves. Featuring the Grammy nominated song InchDrowning in a Daydream.Inch Guest appearance by Metallica's James Hetfield on InchMan or AshInch
