I'm a big fan of Corsair and thought I would love this case. This is until I saw they move the I/O panel to the button of the case. This is very incovnient for users that keep these bigger cases on the floor. Another disapointment is the did not include a reset button on the front I/O panel. I had to manually add my own. The only positive is that I'm glad they moved to 140mm fans for this mid size case. It's a big step up from my Corsair 7000d. I just wish they added more space for the top AIO. You can't remove the motherboard without removing the AIO.

Just make sure you are going into this case understanding its size well. The new Frame cases from Corsair are slightly bigger in every way compared to the previous versions. Now, to be honest I was not going to really write this review until I Corsair came through with their promises of the modular add-ons to customize the case to your liking. They recently released a bunch of new front grills, side panel, motherboard tray and PSU cover options, I can say that this is now a fully fleshed out product. As the product stands on its own, its good. Its high airflow, its quite simple yet attractive at the same time. Yes, it does seem like its a plain case, but there are so many options to be had in the 5000. You have three 360 radiator options, up to 12 120mm fans, any CPU air cooler should fit in this beast. The only points I can really take away from the case is that the stock panels do feel a little "cheap" and I mean for the price of the FRAME cases, I don't think I can be too harsh. In a time when everything is expensive, being able to get your hands on a case with a much versatility as the FRAME cases, is actually great. I think overall this is a 5 star product, especially now with all the new panels that are being offered. If you are not interested in any of those, then this is a solid 4 star case with only points off for the lower quality side panels that come with it. Pure performance wise, this case will not let you down.

Absolute dream to build in. Lots of cable management options if you aren’t a Neanderthal like me and just jam the wires where they fit in the back of the case. All the airflow does mean you will notice the sound of your system more, fwiw.

I really like this case. It is quite large (don't.be fooled by the mid-tower label, this thing is pretty massive), but has great cooling potential. There are several great youtube tutorials on how to build in this case and utilize it's flexible cable management options.

It supports a varied number of builds. Initial install and subsequent additions were uncomplicated. Cable management is nice.
