Ever since I got into the whole RGB thing, I've been wanting one of these lighted mouse pads. The one in the store had a hard plastic top that I didn't really like. I preferred the traditional fabric top that gave a nice feel that is smooth but with just enough resistance that I am used to. Once I saw that they were selling a fabric one with the RGB lighting, I had to have one. Does it make you a better gamer? No. Does it make your mouse perform better? No. Does it look cool in the dark? Absolutely Yes! No gamer's computer desk is complete without one of these. I have all Corsair peripherals, so this fit right in. It goes perfectly with the RGB keyboard and RGB mouse. It works well with Corsairs iCue software to customize the lights with different effects. There is a USB pass-through port to reduce the number of USB cables to your computer system. I had some flickering when I daisy-chained too many USB devices together (Keyboard - Mouse Pad - Mouse), so perhaps keep only the mouse pad and mouse on one USB port. The size is good for gaming as it is relatively big, without being overwhelming.

We got this as a surprise for our son at Christmas. He loves this thing. Plenty of space and well integrated lighting. The add'l USB is just a bonus.

This mat has the same features as the hard surface version. A USB at the top along with the RGB availability on the edges of the mat. I personally like this mat better because I feel like my mouse glides on it much easier due to the cloth surface and it doesn't snag anywhere near as much. I feel it helps especially if you're an avid gamer. I'd highly recommend especially over the hard surfaced version.

I traded my hard surface mouse pad for this one. Cloth is much better. I play mostly FPS games and this has been a great purchase
