Battery life is great and perform itself phenomenal. Definitely an upgrade for my wired mouse

I've been stuck in the mid range gaming mouse zone for a while now, bouncing between options that feel cheap, have weak battery life, or cost more than they should. The Harpoon v2 Wireless lands right in the sweet spot, and after a week of daily use I am genuinely surprised by how much Corsair packed in here for the price. I like the shape and weight overall. The asymmetric design is comfortable in the right hand, the built in thumb rest fits naturally, and the textured rubber side grips keep it steady without feeling bulky. At 80 grams it is light enough to flick around but still feels solid. That said, it is a bit small for my hand and preference, so anyone who likes a larger mouse may notice that right away. Battery life is the headline here and it delivers. Corsair claims 140 hours on the 2.4GHz dongle and 210 on Bluetooth, and I have been using it for a week on Slipstream wireless without charging it once. You also get tri mode connectivity, so you can use the dongle for gaming, Bluetooth for a laptop, or USB C if you forget to charge. The 26K MARKSMAN sensor is overkill in the best way. I am not a competitive esports player, but tracking feels clean and consistent, with no jitter or spin outs. My only real complaint is iCUE. Corsair software works once you set it up, but it is bloated and annoying to navigate for just a single peripheral. If you run multiple Corsair components or peripherals you’re probably used to it. The good news is you can set your DPI and button mappings once and never open it again. I wouldn’t hate a white or grey version, but I guess that’s not for everyone. This is still one of the better wireless gaming mice for under a hundred dollars. If you want something comfortable, reasonably light, and long lasting between charges, the Harpoon v2 is an easy recommendation. Just note that it might be better suited for smaller hands or people who prefer a smaller fit.

A few things that surprised me about this mouse. The first is that being that it's a gaming mouse, it's light. I remember previous gaming mice they would come with weights on them. I think this is a much better mouse because it is lightweight. The mouse is not too wide and feels very comfortable in the palm of my hand. It's versatile in its connections. You have three ways to connect. You could use the included USB cable, Bluetooth, and the included RF USB dongle. There is a compartment underneath the mouse towards the bottom. It's held in by magnets. It looks like a battery compartment but it's not for the battery. It's for the USB dongle. This has a built-in rechargeable battery. It doesn't take AA batteries. One thing that was fairly new to me with setting this mouse up is that it actually does not come with any software to be installed. You visit a website. It detects the mouse as long as you give it permission, and you can do your settings there. It's browser-based. I did notice a little notification that says "Use this app offline". I looked into it and it looks like it is a PWA so the application lives in your browser in sandbox. No drivers, no background services, no DLLs, stuff like that. The other thing I also noticed is this does not work when the mouse is connected via Bluetooth. If you want to use this setting of your mouse then you either have to use the USB cable and connect it or use the USB dongle for wireless connectivity. Here’s two more surprises. The braided USB cable that comes included is a USB-A to USB-C cable. The laptop I’m using it on only has USB-C ports. The other surprise is the dongle is USB-A which is the same issue with the laptop. I just use an adapter. This would affect you if you want to use it as a wired mouse or as a wireless mouse using the USB dongle. It can also affect you when recharging because you are using that USB cable to charge. The good news is my laptop charges through USB-C and I can use that same USB-C cable to charge the mouse or connect it. Been using the mouse for a few hours each day. Corsair claims to have 210 hours of use over Bluetooth. I would say I've used it for about 5-6 hours – not straight but total and still 100% on Bluetooth. Not much usage yet for the needle to move, but I wanted to mention it. And yes, it does report battery life in Bluetooth settings under input. This is actually a pretty good everyday mouse, not just for gaming. I really like it. It's comfortable to use.

I’ve always been a fan of Corsair. They are a top notch brand in the gaming world. I’ve been using Corsair products for longer than I can remember and have always been happy with the performance and quality of their products. The Corsair Harpoon V2 wireless gaming mouse does not disappoint. I have all different kinds of gaming mice. Wired, wireless, extra buttons, no extra buttons. But in my opinion different games call for different hardware. I like this mouse because it’s not too light, it’s not too heavy, it’s ergonomic, feels great in the hand, and only has a couple extra buttons vs some gaming mice that have a ton of extra buttons. And I’m not saying lots of extra mappable buttons is a bad thing I’m just saying every different kind of mouse has its place. This mouse fits my “overall everyday” category. It feels great in the hand. It’s the perfect size and weight. The button placements are great as well. I do think the additional mappable buttons on the side could move up a little but that’s just for my hands and I’m sure everyone is different. The buttons are extremely responsive and the tactile click of them is fantastic. They are easy to click but not too easy that you have accidental clicks. The mouse is extremely responsive and I see no latency when I’m using it. Game performance with this mouse is excellent. Battery life is excellent as well. Setup was easy. I just plugged in the included dongle and switch the mouse on and I was up and running. One thing I noticed was there was no auto installation of software when I plugged in the dongle. I even plugged usb in from the mouse to my desktop and there was no auto installation of the Corsair software. But setup is as easy as plugging it in and turning it on. You don’t have to use the software either if you don’t want to. I love a DPI button that you can customize. It’s nice to just be able to click and change the DPI to whatever you want. It’s very convenient. The Corsair software is very user friendly as well making it easy to customize what you want. Overall this is a great, responsive wireless mouse with great battery life and stellar performance. I would highly recommend it if you are in the market for one.

This is my first opportunity to use a Corsair gaming product, and I was anxious to try this mouse out. It has a lot of great features and a high end sensor that sounded like it would be a benefit for gaming. Most people can probably tell right off the bat if they're going to like a mouse or not, I know that happens to me. I can honestly say that I found it very easy to get used to this mouse and I really liked the feel of it. It's hard not to love the the way it slides effortlessly across my glass mousepad. I've used mouse products by a different brand, exclusively for years, so for me to like it this quickly says a lot. That being said, at the end of the day there are things I really liked about the Harpoon v2 and things that I thought they could improve. The overall look is quite sleek and the jet black color looks fantastic. The shape of the front end is unique and has a somewhat predatory appearance. The RGB illumination on the palm logo stands out well and you can of course set up how you want that to look and act with different effects and colors. The grippy sides feel good and help you to grip the mouse well. As for buttons, the left and right standard buttons have a tight snappy feel. I like the solid click that they make and you know by that sound that you've actually clicked the button. No sloppiness or mushiness about them. The left side forward and back buttons have a similar positive click to them. The size and the placement of these are both good. The mouse wheel button, like the others offers that same positive click to let you know you've engaged the button. However, the mouse wheel, is really lacking. The wheel itself is made of plastic and has a rubberized coating. The feel is tactile and easy to turn, but what I miss is a metal wheel with some weight on it that I can not only click through the steps if I want, but also give it a good spin to get to the top or bottom of a document or web page. There's no spinning this guy. The wheel doesn't have enough heft to do that and the steps are pretty firm which would also make it difficult to spin. Also, there is no way to not feel the steps and make it freewheel. The last button (the one in the center on top) comes with a default assignment of changing the DPI. For me, the DPI is a set it and forget it setting, not something I'm going to set up differently for different games or apps. So I changed the assignment right away. The location of the top button is pretty awkward to actually use in a game. It's pretty far back and I found it difficult to access, which makes it a bit useless. I do like the sensor. It performed flawlessly and solidly. The bottom glides are large and the mouse silently slid across the pad with hardly any resistance at all. The included Slipstream receiver comes concealed inside the mouse which makes it great for traveling with it. You can also set up Bluetooth if you like but I like the Slipstream products better. Overall, I think the Harpoon v2 would benefit from a little additional weight to make it more substantial feeling. My hands are average to large, and the mouse feels a bit small when I palm it. I appreciate the ergonomic rise in the palm section, but for me it wasn't exaggerated enough and I felt like it was just too small in my hand. I was able to alter the button assignments and change the RGB features with the Corsair Web Hub. I don't mind using something like this in place of downloading and installing a stand alone app. It functions the same, and it's got to be way easier to maintain on a web page than having to release new versions of an app you need everyone to download. But it does only work on three different browsers. I use the Brave browser which is built on Chromium (like Chrome), and I still had to use Chrome to get it to work. At the end of the day, the Harpoon v2 is a solid choice for gaming or as an interface to an office machine. The buttons feel great and have a very positive click to them. The glides are large and allow the mouse to slide effortlessly across the desk or pad. The parts I didn't like were few, but they were things that I genuinely found lacking after using other mice. The USB-A to USB-C charging cable it comes with is really nice. The ends are rubberized for easy grip, and the cable itself is a braided cloth style that feel soft and allows you to actually work out the kinks that standard cables would retain for life. It's also about 6' long, so they didn't skimp at all with this. All in all I really enjoyed the Harpoon v2, and I think it would be at home in pretty much any work or game environment.

I hate heavy mice, I don’t understand why any gamer would want something so heaving when playing games! So for me, this is legit perfect! It’s light, fast and super responsive! I love the fact it has three connectivity option; Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz, and wired. And the battery life is incredible. You legit don’t even think it has a battery in it, it’s so light! For the hand feel, so good. It’s textured on the thumb, and fits my hand perfectly. I do think the mouse buttons are too smooth though which makes me concerned with long term use, I’ll end up getting smooth plastic wear, where my fingers rest on the mouse. Which for me bums me out when I see it. But who knows maybe it won’t since it’s semi transparent. One major plus, was it uses Corsair’s Web Hub, so no software waiting to install and download. Just bring up your browser, and connect it and program it and you’re done! Speaking of the software, it is super easy to understand. I almost feel like it’s better than iCUE in terms of simplicity. The default DPI settings were fine, but I hated hated hated accidentally clicking it and it changing my DPI setting on me during a game. So I ended up just setting the DPI and reprogramming that button to “Snipe” mode where it just lowers my DPI super slow for some games. I have it as a toggle, which kind of sucks, but it’s not a huge deal. If I wanted I can use macros for that button but I’m not playing anything that would need it a ton. I do enjoy Marathon (which I know is taboo), but I have considered making it use Macros for that game. At the end of the day, I like it, and I think we need more simple lightweight good gaming mice and for me, this is a good one!

This Corsair Harpoon v2 Wireless Gaming Mouse is a real winner. It feels good in my hand when using it. It doesn’t make my hand tired while I am using it for a long time at once. It is ergonomic as it is asymmetrically shaped. The buttons are positioned perfectly for my hand and fingers. The battery life is great too as I can get close to 138 hours out of it. I leave mine on and forget to turn it off, so it may get more hours if I were to turn it off when not in use. It has 6 programmable buttons. You can configure them the way you want. You can also customize your lighted Corsair RGB logo, button assignments, the DPI, and the rest of the settings on the Corsair Web Hub. That makes it easy as there is no app to download and install. It has 26K DPI Corsair Marksman Sensor. This is a great gaming mouse that doesn’t overdo it and is simple to program your macros into. I have certain abilities in my games that I use all the time, and being able to get to them with a mouse button really speeds things up and makes it so much easier. There is a button on the bottom of the mouse to select whether you want to connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The buttons on the mouse are as follows: Left Mouse Button, Right Mouse Button, Middle Click Scroll Wheel, Forward Button *side front*, Back Button *side back*, DPI Button *behind the scroll wheel*. The USB Charging Data Port is at the front of the mouse. The Power and wireless mode switch *off/2.4GHz Wi-Fi/Bluetooth* is on the bottom right, and the USB wireless receiver is in the compartment on the bottom of the mouse. You will need to charge the mouse first. The color of the Corsair Logo on the mouse will tell you when it is charged by the color patterns and LED lights on the mouse. Example: Battery Low will give you Blink Red 3 time, while Battery Fully Charged will give you a Solid Green for 5 seconds. Other things use the lighting zones to communicate too. DPI Stages use them. Stage 4 – 1600 Green, Stage 5 – 3200 Blue. Connection Modes use lights as well. 2.4GHz Pairing is Rapidly Blink White, while Paired or connected is Solid White for 5 seconds. You can use the web site to set up different profiles, so you don’t have to go back and set them up each time you want to go back to use the same settings for a game. It stores the DPI and button assignments. To update the firmware on your mouse you must connect it via the cable and visit the Corsair web hub. Summary: I really like this Corsair Harpoon v2 Wireless Gaming Mouse. It allows me to customize it just enough without being overbearing or without being too much. Some gaming mice can be too much, I think. This one is just right. That’s why I highly recommend this gaming mouse. It does everything I need it to do and feels great in my hand.

It hits that sweet spot where it’s agile for gaming but still feels solid for everyday use — scrolling, editing, multitasking or whatever else. Then there’s the customization. The programmable buttons are actually useful, not just thrown in for marketing. I mapped a couple of quick actions for games and some shortcuts for daily tasks, and it genuinely makes the mouse feel more “mine.” Pair that with the Corsair iCUE hub, which is super easy to use, and you get a level of personalization that you usually see on more expensive mice. I am writing this review for the Corsair Harpoon v2 Wireless Gaming Mouse Whenever I write a review, I try to present a product in the most positive light I honestly can. That doesn't mean overlooking shortcomings, but rather judging the product for what it sets out to be. I approached the Corsair Harpoon v2 Wireless Gaming Mouse with that same mindset, and by the end of this review you'll probably understand why I mention that. Before receiving the Harpoon v2, I honestly wasn't very familiar with Corsair's gaming peripherals, so I was looking forward to seeing what they had to offer. Out of the box, the mouse looked surprisingly understated. It has everything you'd expect—a left and right button, scroll wheel, two side buttons, and a modest RGB lighting effect on the rear—but it doesn't scream "gaming mouse." Its appearance is clean and functional rather than flashy. While it didn't particularly impress me visually, neither did it disappoint. Corsair seems to have favored comfort and practicality over bold styling. According to Corsair, the Harpoon v2 weighs 80 grams. And that’s exactly what it weighed on my digital kitchen scale. That's certainly not heavy by normal mouse standards, but in the gaming world it leans toward the heavier end of the spectrum. It's nowhere near cumbersome, but when compared to today's ultralight gaming mice, you'll definitely notice the difference. In the hand, the Harpoon v2 feels solid and well-built. I say that to keep in mind that I am not reviewing a top-tier, elite professional gaming mouse. Although the Harpoon v2 feels substantial in the hand, it simply never felt quite right in my hand. I wouldn't describe it as uncomfortable, but it always seemed slightly awkward, almost as though my grip was never completely settled. It often felt like my hand wanted to slide off the back of the mouse, leaving me constantly readjusting my grip. To be fair, mouse ergonomics are highly subjective. No manufacturer can design one shape that perfectly fits every hand. During my testing, I compared the Harpoon v2 with five other mice I own, including one of the highest-rated gaming models currently available. Interestingly, about half of them naturally positioned my fingers at an angle across the primary buttons, while the other half kept my fingers nearly parallel. Because of that comparison, I can't honestly call the Harpoon's shape a design flaw. It simply wasn't a good match for my particular hand. The side buttons presented a more noticeable issue. Having programmable thumb buttons is always a welcome feature, but I found that my thumb naturally rested almost directly over the seam separating the two buttons. During gameplay I repeatedly activated both buttons at once, and occasionally triggered an unintended right-click while trying to recover my grip. The programmable button located behind the scroll wheel created an even bigger problem. At one point during gameplay, my mouse suddenly entered what felt like a slow-motion mode. Since I use a triple-monitor setup, I moved to my far-right display to troubleshoot what was happening. After some experimenting, I discovered that because of the angle of my hand, my middle finger was unintentionally pressing the top button. In the middle of a competitive game, that's exactly the kind of accidental input that can become very costly. Finally, we come to what ultimately became the deal-breaker for me: the scroll wheel. If you rest a finger on the wheel and gently rock it forward and backward, you can clearly feel the internal detents engaging. The problem is that the mouse doesn't actually register movement until you've rotated the wheel past a noticeable threshold. Once scrolling does begin, the movement feels uneven and somewhat choppy instead of smooth and precise. Since the scroll wheel is one of the controls you'll use more than almost anything else, this became increasingly difficult for me to overlook. In the end, I believe Corsair accomplished what they intended to accomplish. The Harpoon v2 offers an excellent list of features at a very affordable price, and many non-professional gamers will likely find it to be a perfectly capable wireless gaming mouse. Unfortunately, ergonomics are intensely personal, and in my case the shape, button placement, and especially the scroll wheel prevented it from becoming a mouse I would consistently use for extended gaming sessions. I don't think the Harpoon v2 is a bad gaming mouse. And like I said, Corsair never presented the v2 as the gaming mouse to unseat all other gaming mice. I simply don't think it's the right gaming mouse for me. And sometimes, that's the most honest conclusion a reviewer can reach. So would I recommend the v2 to others? Yes, absolutely, as long as they understand who this mouse is ultimately designed for.

Currently so far I’m liking the feel and the response of this mouse. The LED animation of the sails is pretty cool. As I was unboxing I looked over and surely thinking I didn’t miss anything even from reading the included literature (plain safety/compliance guide), I wondered where the wireless usb receiver is as I looked underneath the mouse too. Surely you’re to scan QR codes which give some literature so I scanned one and we’ll.. just takes me to their product page. Surely I just randomly guessed and there’s a magnetic clip in lower “skate” cover under the mouse and there it is. Took it out and plugged it in and closed up the cover and the mouse wouldn’t move after picking it up until after a second. I noticed the skate plate wasn’t closed flushed all the way as the clip was sticking out so I opened and closed it fully. So make sure to do that, and all works fine. There’s your side buttons on the left and a top button below the scroll wheel which so far controls the mouse movement speed I believe 5 levels. It works flawlessly and for the time being I’m not sure if there is a way to turn off the animated led but this mouse surely has reported a very long battery life anyway. I’ll look into seeing about installing any software to setup and explore more features of the mouse momentarily. Overall it’s a good mouse and first time having a corsair product.

Corsair Harpoon V2 is an entry level gaming mouse for gamers who doesnt need to spend over $150 for so called “gaming mouse”. Corsair has been around for awhile and they know what matters wth this latest Harpoon V2 it has an updated sensor, improved wireless connection. if youre not an esport kind of gamer this is all you truly needs that provides performance and comfort. everything I need on a much lower price. DESIGN & FEATURES: first thing that strike me is the look of Harpoon V2 I love the semi translucent grey. but it add that modern look thats lighter to hold. this is mainly for right handed user. if youre a claw or relaxed palm grip I believe this mouse is right for you. the mouse size is more of a small/ medium sized hands, my hands are medium and Harpoon V2 relaxed perfectly and fit well with my palm. Harpoon V2 comes with 26k DPI with Corsair Marksman Sensor, it supports super low latency 2.4Ghz and bluetooth and the ability to be fully wired via USBC cable. it has 6 programmable buttons and Corsair claim it could last up to 140hrs of use. if youre looking for magnesium or carbon fiver type of mouse you wont find that here, this is more towards a better value. EXPERIENCE: did some runs on Battlefield 6, The Finals and Apex Legends with Harpoon V2 , tracking performance was excellent on all game ive tested, the sensors feels accurate, I havent run any issue during games or just regular browsing on web. I know they considered this light weight but Corsair says its an 80gram mouse, most gaming mouse these days to be considered light weight you gotta be atleast 40 grams, the clicks from left and right was great minor wobbling on each button which is a great sign for me. when it comes to comfort honestly thats very subjective and would based on each user, some might not find this shape to their liking. I tested this mouse on wired and ofcourse the 2.4hz I would not use the bluetooth if youre gaming though I think its ok during normal use. CONCLUSION: I think Harpoon v2 is a great modern mouse, the esthetic looks great, you get minimal text and corsair logo that supports RGB. its a great value gaming mouse, the sensor responsive and accurate, with tri mode support and great battery life. its light weig

The Corsair Harpoon v2 Wireless Gaming Mouse lives up to its name and expectation. The six-button configuration is very intuitively and it comes in handy with any combat situations. The multi-button availability makes the mouse compatible with many different playstyles and maps well to lots of different kinds of gaming. This flexibility helps me immerse in the gaming experience, which I'm sure would be appreciated by any level of gaming enthusiasts. I initially experienced a problem keeping the mouse to stay charged, even though it's supposed to provide up to 140 hours of battery life. The mouse was shutting down often during my gameplay and it required a hard reboot. I assumed it was due to a need for a new driver or other software updates. The power-down problem proved to be a power usage issue, which was corrected by plugging the mouse into a direct-to-motherboard USB port. After figuring that out, the power issue was resolved for me but I wanted to note that in my review in case others may experience the same issue. Otherwise, I am very happy with my new Corsair mouse. This is a very good addition to my gaming equipment.

The harpoon V2 is a real clicker! A black, not overly illuminated high-performance mouse. I would say it’s exactly what everybody needs. Unboxing and setup was easy. During unboxing I discovered that the mouse included a high quality USB-C to USB-A cable and a USB -A dongle included within the mouse underneath the bottom pad. Set up was easy on my desktop. I used the USB A dongle as soon as I plugged it in and turn the switch on the bottom for the dongle which are wireless bars and it automatically downloaded the drivers that I needed. On my laptop I tested it out with Bluetooth and it did the same. The best news about this mouse is you can use the included cable to power and charge the mouse while also still using the mouse. In order to take advantage of controlling the mouse and it features you have to use Corsairs Web Hub. The hub is online based so you don’t have to download software. Simply make all your changes on the website while your mouse is connected by to your PC and it automatically updates and saves. The harpoon is really loaded was so many great things it’s super high-quality. I love how the only thing that lights up is the Corsair logo, the left and right toggle switches feel amazing on my fingers and I also love how they’re black but they’re also very slightly translucent. The mouse has six customizable buttons, 26k dpi, very fast tracking speed, and amazing battery performance. The battery will last over 240 hours on Bluetooth and 140 hours on wireless 2.4. The mouse feels great in my hand and I can last all night. All of this is lightly packaged in this mouse. I’ve been gaming using World of Warcraft with this mouse. The first thing I noticed while gaming is that I had to make no changes to the settings. Usually as soon as I get a gaming or high-performance mouse, I automatically have to start adjusting the DPI not with this guy. The harpoon is already set to go now other than the RGB lighting in the logo flashing every color to be I honestly didn’t wanna make a single change with the programmable features. I usually play for either an hour or hours on end, depending on what me and my friends are doing, but this mouse has been very comfortable. I don’t even think I need a wrist pad or a comfortable mouse pad to keep me going it’s ergonomically put together well. The harpoon V2 is an amazing mouse. I actually would probably buy multiple for my setups either at work or home. The original harpoon was made years ago and I know it was a highlight to many so to see Corsair continue to improve on that model really shows their character and their commitment to pc users and gamers. If you need a mouse, this is where you need to go even if you’re not a gamer don’t need anything programmable this is still a high-quality mouse, and you can easily change the settings without downloading software and just going on the web browser. If you’re like me and don’t like the flashing colors, just make it white or red. All in all the harpoon V2 is a mighty clicker.

The new HARPOON v2 from Corsair is a awesome small-medium gaming mouse that seems to be aimed at general gaming (multi category) IMPORTANT: The wireless receiver (dongle) is UNDERNEATH the bottom mouse skate. This caught me off guard when I was unboxing it. Actually a pretty neat solution if you ask me. The shape and weight (79g on my scale) ideally will fit small-medium hands. For reference my hands are 18.5x9 cm and I usually use a claw grip. I did not find claw grip to be comfortable at all but palm grip was actually really nice. The textured grip on the side also felt good and the side buttons were positioned perfectly so I wasn't stretching my fingers. All the buttons on this mouse feel really nice too. Light, tactile, and not too loud. Basically what you want. Some of the past Corsair mice I've tested recently started to lack in this area, but this mouse honestly does not suffer from any of those issues, so I applaud Corsair for stepping up here. The main switches are mechanical (rated for 100m clicks) In terms of performance this mouse is capped at 1000hz polling rate and that's honestly enough for a mouse like this. It's also using the reliable 26K DPI MARKSMAN sensor which I've never had any performance hiccups with. So all good here as well. Battery life is also fantastic (rated up to 140 hours) though I recommend turning the mouse off when you're using it just to save on standby. The price is also right for everything you're getting! Sometimes I know Best Buy will have the major brands on display so if you like the shape you will like the rest. Solid recommendation!

Nice little mouse. I have big hands so I am using the claw method of using this one. This looks and feels good in my hand. I would say it is your typical mouse. Smooth movement on my pad and a few gaming sessions gives me a slight impression that it has a very small amount of lag. Figure as long as you aren't a tournament gamer this will work fine for you. I traveled with it recently and the size was just right for my bag with my laptop and power supply to not make me regret bringing them. Nice wheel action and your typical clickity buttons. I like that the dongle hides away inside the mouse and it holds a charge like a champ. The multiple ways to connect are very welcome and I am glad more folks are starting to do this. I am not a huge tech spec guy so in conclusion what I can say is that I think anyone will enjoy using this mouse just as long as you keep your expectations in a good place. Gamers who need that absolute precision without lag might think twice about this one but outside of that I give this two thumbs up.

As far as gaming mice go, this one is pretty simple, but honestly I think it does everything it really needs to and does it well. The construction is nice. It's a bit small for my tastes, but it feels nice to the touch and the shape is comfortable to hold and the clicks and button-presses and scroll wheel all feel fine to me. I like the grippy texture the sides have, as well as the way it fits my (right) hand better than a normal symmetrical mouse. It's relatively lightweight as far as mice go, and glides pretty smoothly. It has a USB receiver that's programmable (you can replace it if you lose it), and better still it's secured in place by a decently-strong magnetic door. I really like not having to pry loose clips and feel like I'm going to break the mouse to open the door to get the receiver out - I think a magnetic mouse door was a great decision on Corsair's part. As far as looks go, it's pretty typical. Black mouse, the Corsair logo lights up and you can change the colors or pattern, the usual. Though, I did find it interesting that the left and right buttons are a little bit translucent - that makes it stand out a bit from the other gaming mice I have. In terms of software, you can program the mouse by connecting it with the USB receiver and opening Corsair Web Hub. You can change the function of any key except for the left click, and changes you make get written to the mouse so it moves with you to new computers. You can set key combinations, text, macros, mouse key functions, and keyboard keys to every other button on the mouse. It partially works on Linux too - you can't configure it, but assigned the forward and back keys on the side to different lines of text, moved the mouse to a Linux machine, and it still did exactly what I configured it to do. There's no drivers necessary, so you don't need to install anything to get it working and you don't really have to be careful about accidentally triggering a software installation if you use it on a borrowed computer. Web Hub is also just generally really easy to use, which I appreciate. In terms of performance, it handles exactly like I'd want a gaming mouse to handle. It's super responsive and precise over the USB receiver, Bluetooth, or USB-C. It's got a nice, long battery life - I have not had to charge it since I got it and initially charged it to full. I've used the mouse on a variety of surfaces like desks of various colors, a blanket, mousepads, my pant leg, even my hand once; and it has never had a problem with tracking on any of them. Both the Bluetooth and USB wireless connections are solid. I've never had any drops or serious latency from them (though I do think the USB wireless feels ever so slightly snappier, but I think that's to be expected). Overall, I think this is a great gaming mouse. I think if you have especially big hands, you may want to skip this one; but otherwise I would say this is a really good, solid pick for a gaming mouse. I would absolutely recommend this.

Has pretty good economics battery life and performance

No lag, very fast, comfortable and enjoyable. I like the clicking sensation.

Wow, I got it right away that this mouse has a unique and great shape. The first thing I noticed was the thumb placement. It has a fantastic feel for two big reasons: 1) The deeper indentation and 2) The textured surface covering the indentation. The deeper indentation gives me much more control especially since I do have a little arthritis and the grip is much firmer for me. I also loved the feel of the side buttons as they stand out a bit more from the surface and your thumb hits them very smoothly. The textured surface is a bit like checkering on a gun stock to ensure there is no slippage. The mouse is a little shorter and sits up better in your fingers and your palm, as it doesn’t hit the back of my palm like some mice do; and I found this was a plus as well. Although this would be a personal preference. Tip of the cap to the Corsair engineers for the ergonomics of this mouse which hugs your hand so to speak. Along with the hand fit, the five buttons and the scroll wheel all operate very smoothly, especially the scroll wheel. I tried motorsports games and had great control, and I also did some spreadsheet and document work, and these apps also were very easy to navigate using this mouse. The Corsair Web Hub will be the place to customize these buttons. The Corsair iQue software will not support this device. The DPI sensor is fantastic at 26K, which became mostly apparent in gaming for me, where cars are avoiding objects and moving fast. The battery life of 140 hours is plenty for me. I tried all three methods of connection including Bluetooth, USB dongle and wired. I preferred the USB dongle. There would be rare situations where you would need the wired connection to avoid battery loss; but Corsair did provide a very long, extra durable, extra flexible cable. So, another tip of the cap is in the connection options area. I did not have any problems with lift off distance and this mouse performed very well for me in all responsiveness areas. I would highly recommend this very reasonably priced mouse for its specifications and especially its ergonomics.
