CORSAIR - HS80 MAX Wireless Gaming Headset for PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, and Mobile - White

I got this for Christmas, and I wanted to give it time to use it and see what my thoughts were. So after almost 2 months of use, I can confidently say this is a great headset. There are a few things that drive me batty, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars out of 5. Pros: Great sound. Not the best in the business, but for gaming and casual music/movie consumption, it's pretty good. The audio is significantly better if you set up the SoundID in the iCUE software ecosystem that all Corsair products sync with (please do that before you complain about the sound quality). The addition of Dolby Atmos is a nice feature too Battery life. I've charged these once since I got them. I don't game all the time, and spend maybe 10~12 hours a week on my computer. Comfort. I like that they're a full over-ear, so nothing rests on my actual ear. The pads are well cushioned, and have a cloth wrap (I don't like vinyl wrapped pads) the band that supports them over the top of your head was surprisingly comfortable, and does a great job at distribution of weight. Cons: They have some weight to them, which some people could find heavy or uncomfortable after a period of wearing them. Sometimes the wireless connection can be finicky, and they have to be paired with the receiver dongle again They're not the most comfortable to use while charging, as the provided USB-C charging cable has a fairly large connector at the end where it plugs into the headset. While gaming, if the sound in-game gets below a certain threshold, the headphones go into an almost "standby" mode, and they entirely cut out audio. I have not found a way to avoid that happening. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it's why I didn't give these 5 or 5 stars. Overall, this is a great headset, but grab it when it's on sale.

I've been using the CORSAIR HS80 MAX Wireless Gaming Headset for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m impressed. The audio quality is clear and immersive, especially for gaming on PC and PS5. The wireless connection is stable, and the headset is comfortable even during long sessions. The build feels solid, and the Steel Gray color gives it a premium look. The mic picks up voice clearly, which is great for team chats. Battery life has been reliable so far, and setup was quick and easy. My only minor gripe is that the ear cups could be slightly more breathable, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I’d recommend this headset to anyone looking for a high-quality, wireless gaming audio experience.

These headphones sound and look amazing. The quality of the foam-fabric ear padding also makes for a very comfortable experiences. I Also like the banded-style adjustment on my head and the custom LED Lighting from Corsair's iQUE software! They are nice to look at but nicer to wear. In videogames, like RDR2 in my experience.. I can hear every little thing, Birds flying in the sky and every twig snapping between your feet. It really is an awesome experience. The dolby software is super nice too, giving lots of stereo adjustments Also for anyone with glasses I wear them and these don't cause pain to my head like a lot of headphones do. In terms of the battery life, I Can confidently say I've used them for ~100 hours without them dying. It's also super nice to be able to use them with either bluetooth, dongle, or cable! I would DEFINITELY buy these again

They have great sound and mic quality. Super comfortable and hold a charge for a long time

Best headset I've ever had. Dolby ready and amazing battery life. Most comfortable padding as well. The interface and buttons quick button features make it super simple to switch between sound modes and even pair to multiple devices at once.
