Upgraded my son’s gaming computer from a Corsair 650 to this bad boy. Great reviews online. I love that it is modular and you can leave out any cables not needed. Definitely helps with cable management. It is also nice that it has two CPU power cables for the larger ATX boards. Platinum rated and it has a nice zero RPM mode so you do not even have the fan on if it isn’t needed. Also one of the few PSUs with RGB fan if you are looking to add color to your rig. It is big though, being 1000w, so make sure you have space for the unit and the cables being plugged in behind it.

Does it's job. Relatively quite. Using it with an RTX 4080 Super, and have had no issues.

It's a 1000w power is it not hard to use but there was a weird hick up that they didn't mention I couldn't boot my PC with out the USBC light indicator plugged in and took me a bit to figure that out

Runs whisper-quiet and delivers stable power, even under heavy workloads. Fully modular design makes cable management easy, and it’s smart enough to report usage stats to your system—though, unfortunately, that requires iCUE. Still, a rock-solid PSU for high-demand builds.

Needed to replace my failed 850 and opted to get this for future proofing. It's small, quiet, and works great.

The CORSAIR HXi Series 1000W 80 Plus Platinum Power Supply is an absolute beast, but the best part? It's silent. This thing powers my entire setup without making a sound, and I had to check a few times to make sure it was even on! Pros: Whisper Quiet: The fan rarely spins up, and when it does, it’s almost inaudible. Perfect if you're trying to keep your build as quiet as possible. 1000W of Pure Power: It handles my overclocked CPU, high-end GPU, and multiple drives with ease. The 80 Plus Platinum efficiency ensures I’m not wasting energy. Fully Modular: Only use the cables you need. My case looks cleaner than ever, and it makes installation a breeze. iCUE Integration: The digital monitoring through Corsair’s software is a cool bonus. You can check your power consumption, temps, and even adjust the fan settings. Cons: Price: It's on the expensive side, but the platinum efficiency, quiet operation, and modular design make it worth the investment. Overkill for Smaller Builds: If you're running a less power-hungry setup, 1000W might be more than you need. But for future-proofing, it's fantastic. Overall: The CORSAIR HXi 1000W is a silent, efficient, and powerful PSU that feels like a premium investment. If you want quiet operation and plenty of power for future upgrades, this is a solid choice. Highly recommend!

Excellent power delivery, more than enough to power my ROG 4080 Strix card.

Highly recommend if you have an rtx 4090! Comes with the 12vhpwr cable you need for any 4090 and has a dedicated 600w output for your card. You dont have to worry about the nvidia given splitter catching on fire.

Corsair quality is always, got this because the HX was out of stock. But it still is a 1,000 watt PSU, I just don't use the smart features. Powers my 4070 Ti just fine and my 12600. Easy to install since it's modular too. Future proof for the 4090 and 13900k.

My PC kept tripping my breaker and I thought it was because it was pulling too much power. When my power supply messed up I upgraded to this one (not knowing anything about computers or parts) and my breaker has not tripped since nor my PC has had any issues! I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and I would recommend this power supply to anyone that wants to have a piece of mind.

I have this in my RTX5090 / Ryzen 9 9900X PC, it has been great. Easy to install and came with plenty of cables. I'm using the 12VHPWR cable that was supplied with the PSU to power my 5090.

Bought this back in January and i haven't had any problems. Using it on a rtx 4090 8 case fans all 140mm Ryzen 5800x 32gb ddr4 2 m.2 ssd drives a processor aired cooler with pull push and usb C on my tower with pc and gpu display. This psu is also very quite before i installed the last 4 case fans. I would say this is a perfect psu from corsair with a great warranty too.

Absolutely quiet and powers my rig efficiently, and has enough cables to wire a power hungry system.
