The CORSAIR iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE Performance Triple Fan Kit boasts eight bright, individually addressable RGB LEDs on each fan, alongside CORSAIR AirGuide technology with anti-vortex vanes for concentrated cooling. The included iCUE Lighting Node CORE RGB Lighting Controller easily connects your lighting with simple USB 2.0 and SATA connections, minimizing cable clutter. Customize vivid lighting effects and synchronize it with your other iCUE-compatible devices using powerful CORSAIR iCUE software. A translucent low-noise 120mm fan blade, able to spin as quietly as 18 dBA, is PWM controllable between 550 and 1,500 RPM, pushing up to 47.7 CFM of air while enhancing your lighting effects.
A: Hi Rickybobby, Each SP RGB ELITE fan is equipped with a 4-pin PWM (for fan power and control) and 4-pin RGB (for RGB lighting power and control) connector. The Lighting Node CORE connects to a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard, and a SATA power connector from your PSU. A: Colors can be modified and brightened with iCUe. This fan doesn't have a lit outer ring like the LL120 so it does appear more muted. These fans look nice but I wanted the outer ring to light up so I replaced them with the LL120s
Q: Does this work with the NZXT - Kraken 240?
A: Hello, You can put any fans on any cooler for the most part, you'd just have to control with the appropriate controller. -Art
Q: Would these work with B365M DS3H WIFI motherboard?
A: Hi Sophia, The fans would come with a Lighting Node Core, so the motherboard used would be mostly irrelevant unless it was a very, very old motherboard/platform. This shouldn't be an issue with yours. -Art
A: These fans will work with most any case as long as the case fan spaces are the same size as the fans ie 120 mm or140mm. The important question is will your motherboard and power supply support the fans. The major differences between the elite and pro fans are the rpms (the elite have a higher rpm range), the power connections (elite is 4 pin and pro 3 pin) and the elite fans (which I have installed) support PWM control and the pro do not (according to the specs provided by the Corsair website).
Q: do these fans include the screws to mount them in a case like the corsair 5000x that I have
A: Yes they come with short and long screws
Q: Is the fan header a 3 pin or 4 pin please let me know
A: Fan is 4 pin PWM. There is also the rgb cable and header that needs to be plugged into either a commander xt or lighting node core for the rgb to work.
