I can't compare this keyboard to any others but I do know I really like it. I bought this for my first pc build and I'm very happy with it. I got it priced matched for $80 and I would buy it again. The Cherry MX Red switches are what gamers prefer and I see why. Plus it looks bada** . Buy this keyboard.

I did a lot of research when looking for a keyboard for my first desktop build. This keyboard was one of the few keyboards that kept getting great reviews from people I trust online and through personal networks. The keys are responsive, the backlighting is cool, and the price is affordable. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who is looking for a starter keyboard for gaming or for just regular computer use. 10/10 would buy again

I am not a gamer. I purchased this keyboard because I am a typist and like the tactile feel that many gaming keyboards provide. This one works very well, and my typing speed and accuracy is higher. It's as good as a Razer (I have one of those as well on another computer), but at a better price point.

Needed a solid keyboard for gaming (old one crapped out on me). This one does not disappoint. Everything works perfectly as designed. I like the extra keys they give you for WASD that are shaped to help keep your fingers in place comfortably. Not big on all the fancy lighting effects but if you are, this has more than I expected. Price is reasonable compared to similar keyboards from other brands. No complaints.

Purchased for the background light. Great for working in a darker area. Like the tactile keys which reminds me of original IBM keyboards. Not used for gaming yet but does come with additional key tops for gaming commands.

I've been using this for 3 years now. It's a solid keyboard, easy to clean, and the lighting is cool. It's very clicky, which I enjoy. Only downside is that sometimes a power cycle on the PC will cause the keyboard to stay lit even when the desktop is off. This can be fixed by unplugging it and putting it back in, but it's annoying.

First let me say I have a mouse to go with this! If you're computer is slow I don't recommend this for you since the software will make it worse. That being said if your a gamer and you want an awesome experience than this is for you. The software is easy to use and you can set up different profiles for different things, I even have a profile for twitch to easily enter emotes and various phrases to trigger asmongold. The tactile feedback is awesome and the response time is perfection

The keyboard seems very nice. I like the action and feel of the keys. But, it did not work with a KVM extender. It worked well when plugged into the frame.

I bought this keyboard because I didn't want a wireless keyboard, plus all of the regular keyboards seemed cheap. I also like a mechanical keyboard because I like the sound feedback from the keys. I like the red light that the keys have, it looks really cool in low light. You can turn the light off if you don't want it at that particular moment. This manufacturer has more expensive keyboards, but this one works great.

This was my first gaming keyboard, but I can definitely tell the difference between this and a normal office keyboard. The keys have a feel to them that let's you know the exact moment the key input is being made. It also comes with textured keys to replace the W, S, A and D keys. This lets you know where your fingers are without even looking down.

The build quality of this keyboard is outstanding all around, this thing is an absolute TANK, and at an incredibly affordable price. Switches are smooth and have a short actuation, although a long stroke until they bottom out, making them both touch typist friendly and great for any kind of gaming. Replacement gaming keys that come with the board are very nice to the touch and dont get uncomfortable over long periods of gaming due to slight bevels to acclimate for a slightly more comfortable posture on your hand. Corsair software is fantastic and each key is individually backlit, leading to infinite possibility. As long as you like red. The only reason for a single star taken off is there is a slight wobble to keys, and its kind of odd feeling at times.

I feel like most keyboards these days are extremely overpriced, however with this keyboard on sale I feel like its a fair value. There isn't much to complain about here. The build quality feels solid, the keys have a nice firm feel to them yet doesn't require much force to type. The keys are clearly visible and when they're backlit they are even easier to read. I would purchase this keyboard again at sale price, for full price however I would probably actually pay the additional money to get one of the multicolored rgb keyboards

I own a Strafe RGB keyboard and thought this particular keyboard would be a fine present for my Sister. Everything about this board is quality except the Corsair software. The software as of October 1, 2017 is buggy. I could not save any settings to the system. I returned this product.

I decided to purchase the strafe as my first red switch keyboard. I play overwatch and it works great! PROS: Although I did not buy the silent version, the keys are very quiet. All sets come with both the moba and fps kits, which change your main/movement keys to a light grey with grips. I like that the wasd keys are caved inwards for more stability. This is great, because cherry red boards are unforgiving to finger slips (as soon as you touch a key it will be "clicked"). The spacebar also has the raised grips. It is anti-ghosting, has customizable backlights with cool patterns, and keys are triggered quickly. CONS: I personally found the keys to be a little tall at first, but I adapted to it quickly. I have small hands and it is difficult to reach some of the essential buttons, such as the shift key and lower communications (zxc buttons). I ended up remapping my action keys to accommodate for this. To customize your backlighting, you will have to download software from Corsair, for which there is no updated tutorials. It took some time for me to understand the layering tools (for the red only backlit boards you can change brightness and add patterns, not colors). The interface is not very user-friendly. TLDR; The keyboard is great quality, but be cautious if this is your first red switch or have small hands. Also looks very pretty and all your (gamer) friends will be jelly.

I was looking for a keyboard that would last for more than 5 years. Tired of the cheap modern membrane keyboards. My research led me to this rock-solid mechanical keyboard, like the keyboards that came with the original PC during the PC revolution of the late 70s and 80s. If you want a cheap silent keyboard, then this isn't for you. If you want just what a quality keyboard that will last, then consider this Corsair Strafe. I don't use any of the gaming features, so I can't comment on them. I can tell you that is comes with extra keys, but the documentation is lacking.

This is my first mechanical keyboard, and it's been a blast so far. The keys are just the right level of responsive without being too sensitive. Solid construction. I'm still getting used to the spacing of the keys, but that's only because I'm so used to using a low profile Logitech wireless keyboard. I'd recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a first foray into mechanical keyboards. Being able to customize the lighting is just gravy.

Great keyboard for gaming and just regular typing needs. I use it mostly to write papers for both work and school. It also serves as a great add on when I want to game on my desktop. The keys are buttery smooth and it is very easy to care for. The keyboard feels like it is made of premium materials and that it will likely be durable for a very long time. If it's on sale, don't hesitate to buy it if you need a good keyboard.
