A: Hi, If you're looking to upgrade to a 32/64GB memory configuration, please purchase a 32/64GB memory kit to guarantee you receive identical memory modules. We do not suggest mixing memory modules from different memory kits (even if same model). Modules which do not come from the same kit may be nonidentical in version. Having nonidentical memory modules installed carry a high chance of bottle necking and/or system instability. A: Short answer... 99% it will. The only gray area is with the newer models. When supplies became disrupted, they were forced to use the motherboards they could get their hands on, rather than using the same board in every pc. I would think they still stuck with ones that except DDR4 memory though. Mine was purchased in Aug 2021 and this works fine with it. An internet search will show you how to check what motherboard is installed. Mine has an ASrock A320m/ac and it works perfectly.
