Cosmic Dead - The Cosmic Dead [VINYL LP] date 05/15/2026

Spectral death metal conjurations will grasp you with their doom-tinged tendrils from the onset of this record. The gritty, booming riffs open a chasm of darkness for the punishing drums to cast skulls into. Met by otherworldly vocals, this is certain to grip any fan of sepulchral music with it's enchanting and intense abyssal atmosphere. Do not be fooled by the slower lumbering moments into thinking this will be an easy listen. Stampeding ferocity and wild madness soon erupt from the charnel openings to give a burst of frantic psychopathy to the experience. Churning doomed violence and convulsive bestial onslaughts entwine around each other to project forth arcane death metal violence with huge dynamics and an utterly savage feeling to every second. With a natural, organic production to convey the filthy nature of the music perfectly; this is not a record that will hold your hand rather drop you into a void of souls with malicious intentions. From the devastating drum work and monstrous riffing to the wickedly contorting bass lines; each instrument complements the others in this storm of triumphant vitriol while the commanding vocals spew malice to superb effect. The low end murmurings and rusted blades of the leads are an idyllic balance of inhospitable sounds that will surely satisfy any real underground lunatic seeking dark music. These five pieces clock in at 35 minutes and the sheer intensity is upheld for every second. Crypt-lurking doomed despair and utter ferocity become companions while the groove of the more mid tempo sections tie everything together. There is certainly nothing missing for an impactful and memorable experience. Allowing itself to decay and reform throughout; you will see, hear, feel, smell and maybe even taste the stages of cranial decay and the anguish of the brain matter breaking down into nothingness. This is a record which doesn't follo

Up-tempo R&B and Rare New York Soul produced by Bobby Robinson- Includes the original theme to the hit TV show Soul Train- A priceless treasure trove of Northern Soul dancers and precious memories- 140-gram black vinyl- Inner printed sleeve featuring line notes by Dean Rudland.BOBBY ROBINSON was more than a fixture in hisNew York community, he had been an essential part of it's lifeblood for over 60 years. Had he just been the proprietor of the first record store (and reputedly the first black-owned business) on 125th Street, he would have been important enough, but he also had an ear for talent, recording landmark music across four decades, always at home with the music of his neighbourhood, be it doo-wop, R&B, soul or even rap.He was an entrepreneur involved in over a dozen different labels, sometimes on his own, sometimes with a partner, often with his brother Danny, and he was behind records that became internationally famous by Gladys Knight, King Curtis, Elmore James, Lee Dorsey, Wilbert Harrison and Grandmaster Flash. He made many more that were simply good, and this compilation takes aim at the great work he did as a soul and R&B producer during the 1960s and early 70s. It's an introduction that shows the quality that he created had depth beyond the headline names.

Vinyl LP pressing. Obliteration is imminent As the World Dies return with their triumphant second offering. InchNebulaInch is a colossal lesson in crushing death metal and cosmic mysticism. Inch'Nebula' is the quintessence of what As the World Dies is all about,Inch band leader and scene veteran Scott Fairfax says. InchWe pushed our musical boundaries and wanted to create an album that was both brutal and thought-provoking. It's heavier, darker and more profound than anything we've done before.Inch While we go about our petty business, leading our small and insignificant live under the sun, death is hurtling towards us at breakneck speed An asteroid names Apophis will come in very close contact with planet Earth in 2029. Aptly named after the Egyptian god of dissolution, darkness and chaos, it has the power to obliterate life as we know it. Seriously it doesn't get any more death metal than this. Scott Fairfax is well aware of that. The death metal veteran of Memoriam fame is back with his other vehicle of death and destruction, As the World Dies. Three years after their earthshattering and star-studded debut InchAgonistInch, he's taking things into space with InchNebulaInch, a cosmic death metal requiem of colossal proportions. Brought to life and recorded mostly by Scott Fairfax alone in his home studio, this isn't so much of a band effort and rather the work of a dedicated individual pissed off by pretty much everything going on around him. Angry, haunting and miserable songs are, though. InchNebulaInch is full of them. An album like an uncompromising alien threat to our planet, as unrelenting and indifferent as an asteroid. The end is coming, folks. Let's all enjoy it while we can.
