I purchased this Costway 10,000 btu portable AC unit with fan and dehumidifier for our master bedroom. Our bedroom sits over our garage and it just holds heat that makes our room feel humid and muggy. Our bedroom is huge with high ceilings and this unit cools it down very quickly. We are able to get a good night sleep in these muggy Michigan summers. The unit has a remote control that is extremely easy to use and the led screen has large print that is easy to read. Set up was extremely easy. Take it out of the box, hook the hose to the window with the sliding spacer to block the heat from coming in and plug it in. Press on, set your temperature, sit back and enjoy the comfort. I would recommend this unit in a heartbeat. Its a workhorse for sure. The spacer is made to use in both windows that slide up and down and windows that slide side to side. Again, 5 stars.

I purchased the 10,000 BTU AC is as described. It cools pretty quick, filters easy to get to, I like how the vent on top can be set to go up and down to move the air more. If on high the air blowing is a little loud, but I do have mine beside my bed. I keep it set on 61* (lowest you can set it) and my room temperature hangs around 65-67*. That’s on a really hot hot day (90* and up) cloudy and mild ( around 80* outside) it will drop down to 62-63*. I literally just bought 4 of these on Labor Day if that tells you anything on how much I like them. I have one in my living room kitchen and other bedroom. My bill with 18 days went up 19$. days on it went up

I’ve had this unit for a while now. I am disappointed in the unit. It’s currently 92 outside and this unit was struggling in a 12x14 bedroom. No matter wht setting I use the temperature continues to go up. I have it on cool set to 73 degrees with max fan level and right now the temperature is 77 in the bedroom. Yesterday it was only 89 degrees and I had the unit on auto. I finally switched over to cool when the temperature got to 80 degrees in the bedroom. I do give it an extra star because it works great as a dehumidifier. Overall. It works if the temperature doesn’t get above 85 degrees outside.

This unit performs well and was very easy to install. The only issue was fitting the window jamb for a vertical assembly. The plastic was short by 6 inches. Made up for it with some scrap material.

Out central air qent out and this is a nice ac to get us through the heat. Eady set up

I use this in my small kitchen, it does its job and works great. really had to look at the instructions it understand everything it has to offer!

That portable unit works fantastic on this very hot humid days we’ve had recently! Makes it so much better to sleep and you’re not laying in a pool of sweat. I was lucky and he got it on sale so that makes me even more happier.

Cools air. What else does it need to do, right? Oh, and I like that it has a remote.

I was not happy with the fit in the window. Opened package, put together, and took apart to send back all on the day it was delivered. Never even used. Costway is making the return way too difficult and unfortunately cannot return to Best Buy despite having their membership. Would avoid purchasing as this will most likely just end up in the trash.

No matter what setting you choose the unit is too loud. Wanted to return or exchange it but had to go through the actual maker, I didn’t want to go through all that headache.

I totally dislike this product due to the fact that it did not fit into my window and the air tube kept coming out of the slot. It did not cool my living room as I expected it to. It's just not what I thought it wouild be.

Does not cool as well just like an expensive for fan

Doesn’t put out much air very disappointing wish I would’ve bought something more
